Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.

I think it’s a good thing to do each week.

Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

I’m thankful that today hubby and I are heading out for a yacht club cruise. We are spending the weekend at Village West Yacht Club. They do a very good job of entertaining us for the weekend. They also serve some really good meals.

I’m thankful that on Saturday morning we’re boating across the way to Bob’s at the Marina. They have a great breakfast and their lunches are even better. They have a Sourdough Cheeseburger – 1/3 pound patty with grilled onions, pickles, saucy mustard, American or Jack cheese served on grilled sourdough bread. You can bet I’ll be having this.

I’m thankful that hubby and I so enjoy our time together. I’m a lucky gal and I know it.

What are you thankful for today?

That sounds like a great weekend ahead for you. I wouldn’t mind trying that burger, it sounds yummy.

Hard to sleep when there is thunder. Pups don’t like it either. I remember our Little Bit hated thunder. 🙂

Thank you, Marg. We’re at Village West now and tied up for the weekend. It’s cold this morning though. 🙂

Sounds like you’ll have a grand time! The Hubby and I shop at farmers markets together…rather, he shops, while I wander around. I buy the home-made hand creams, and local photographer’s greeting cards, as he fills his bag with fresh kale, mushrooms, and butternut squash.

There is a lot of food during these weekends. People put together finger foods to share. We all go home and diet for a week. 🙂

I am incredibly grateful for my husband. He has been great through this difficult period. I’m doing better with my anxiety, much to our relief and joy. Nice photo for Wednesday. It made me smile. Be well and have a great, safe time!

I am thankful for this beautiful post…the simple things of life make it grand! Years ago Hardee’s had a San Francisco burger. OH was it yummy It was on two slices of sourdough loaf bread and lots of fixings
    Enjoy

    Enjoy your cruise.
I am thankful that today I at last feel halfway human.
We went on a week long cruise on the 25th and the first day I had a major gallstones attack. I didn’t eat for 36 hours and then could only manage a bowl of soup a day. Last night I ate my first proper meal and today I feel much better.

I’m so sorry that you didn’t enjoy the cruise you looked so forward to. That’s awful. I’m glad you’re feeling better. 🙂

We are having breakfast there this morning and tomorrow we’ll have lunch. We got this all worked out. 🙂

I agree with you. All we need to do is pay attention and we’ll find many things to be thankful for. 🙂
