Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.

I think it’s a good thing to do each week.

Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

Today I’m thankful for the many blessing in my life. I have a roof over my head, food on the table and transportation to get to the places I need to go. Many don’t have these things.

I’m thankful that I have a warm bed to rest each night. Many don’t have this.

I’m thankful I have heat in the winter and air conditioning in the summer. Many don’t have this.

We all need to look around at how fortunate we really are.

What are you thankful for today?

So many things to be thankful for today. I guess the most recent would be that my lawn is freshly mowed (last night) and I was able to purchase the new mower to get the job done easily.

I’m happy you have a new mower that works the way you want and that your lawn looks good again. 🙂

I am thankful it is warming up in Arizona but it’s not too hot yet so no need for a heater or air conditioner, just open the door and let the breeze in through the screen. My favorite season.

    Sandee,

Sometimes I feel bad that I want to move into a bigger better house when many do not have especially those who it’s no fault of their own just bad circumstances. I’m very thankful for a roof over my head protecting me from the elements. I’m always reminded of those less fortunate when the weather out isn’t purrfect and I know I have a snuggly place to lay my head. Blessings to you, my friend!

    • Sandee says:

Don’t feel bad about that. If you can afford to do that then go for it. Be thankful that you can. Blessings back, Cathy. 🙂

We are thankful for the food in our bowls, and a roof over our head and all the other good things in life. Sandee, you and Zane have one really good day. Or I should say, many good days.

Today I am thankful for our many blog friends, including you, who have been supporting us through this sad time of losing our Samantha. Thank you so much for adding her to your Angel page….it means so much. ♥♥♥

I’m thankful that I have a pet rock that doesn’t insist on delivery Chinese food when I have a medical bill to pay. That’s loyalty.

It’s the things we take for granted that you brought out that I am most grateful for. Also that spring is here even if it is 3 months late.

Wise and compassionate words. ~hugs~ I keep reminding myself how much worse things could be while dealing with stupid and persistent ‘first world problems’, a term a dear friend taught me. Be well!

    Happy Thankful Thursday! <3
At the moment I’m thankful that I have a washer & dryer. It’s out there doing the hard work, while I get to stay in here and read blogs!
For several times in the past we didn’t have them, and I had to either schlep the laundry to the landromat, or wash things in the sink with an old fashioned rub board. 🙂

Today we are thankful the sun is shining and hopefully the ground is drying up a bit. It’s tough for Mom and Lightning with all the storms we have had. Rain returns overnight:( But let’s be thankful for all the beauty that rain brings to Mother Nature.
