It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.
I think it’s a good thing to do each week.
Focus on the positive things in our lives.
Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.
Today I’m thankful for the many blessing in my life. I have a roof over my head, food on the table and transportation to get to the places I need to go. Many don’t have these things.
I’m thankful that I have a warm bed to rest each night. Many don’t have this.
I’m thankful I have heat in the winter and air conditioning in the summer. Many don’t have this.
We all need to look around at how fortunate we really are.
What are you thankful for today?
So many things to be thankful for today. I guess the most recent would be that my lawn is freshly mowed (last night) and I was able to purchase the new mower to get the job done easily.
I’m happy you have a new mower that works the way you want and that your lawn looks good again. 🙂
I am thankful it is warming up in Arizona but it’s not too hot yet so no need for a heater or air conditioner, just open the door and let the breeze in through the screen. My favorite season.
We’ve had a few days of no heater or air conditioner. I love it too. So does my wallet. 🙂
Yeah, that’s the other reason I love it.
I agree with you. It is good to remember and be thankful for all that we have.
Some folks never look at all the good around them. I don’t want to be one of those folks. 🙂
We are thankful for all the opportunities we have, a home, and so much love. Happy Thursday!
You two are most adorable too. I’m thankful I found you and your mom. 🙂
Love those thankfuls, they are oh so true! Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Yes they are. Thank you for hosting Thankful Thursday. 🙂
Sandee,
Sometimes I feel bad that I want to move into a bigger better house when many do not have especially those who it’s no fault of their own just bad circumstances. I’m very thankful for a roof over my head protecting me from the elements. I’m always reminded of those less fortunate when the weather out isn’t purrfect and I know I have a snuggly place to lay my head. Blessings to you, my friend!
Don’t feel bad about that. If you can afford to do that then go for it. Be thankful that you can. Blessings back, Cathy. 🙂
We are thankful for the food in our bowls, and a roof over our head and all the other good things in life. Sandee, you and Zane have one really good day. Or I should say, many good days.
I’m thankful you’ve been a wonderful friend for so many years. Have a great day. 🙂
Today I am thankful for our many blog friends, including you, who have been supporting us through this sad time of losing our Samantha. Thank you so much for adding her to your Angel page….it means so much. ♥♥♥
xxoo, Jan and Luke
You’re most welcome. I’m a huge softy when it comes to kitties and puppies. 🙂
I’m thankful that I have a pet rock that doesn’t insist on delivery Chinese food when I have a medical bill to pay. That’s loyalty.
Seymour is a favorite pet rock in my view of the world. 🙂
We are very thankful for exactly the same things that you are and mom and I feel very thankful that we have each other.
Yes indeed. I’m thankful for you Molly. You bring me joy and smiles. 🙂
It’s the things we take for granted that you brought out that I am most grateful for. Also that spring is here even if it is 3 months late.
Sometimes we just don’t think about the constants. 🙂
I’m thankful for where I live and today the weather is glorious! Happy Thursday!
The weather is glorious here too. For that I’m thankful. 🙂
🙂
Am thankful that I didn’t need to get to work in a boat, and I worry about all of the folks who are having flooding problems.
I’ve been in flooded areas and they are scary. 🙂
Wonderful thankfulness. Each morning my eyes open and my day begins I am thankful
Hugs Cecilia
I do the same, Cecilia. I’ve had a great life and I’m most grateful. Big hugs back. 🙂
Wise and compassionate words. ~hugs~ I keep reminding myself how much worse things could be while dealing with stupid and persistent ‘first world problems’, a term a dear friend taught me. Be well!
They can always be worse. Be well too, my friend. 🙂
so very very thankful for our good health, great neighbors and a happy cat!
Yes, yes and yes. 🙂
Being grateful every day/week makes for a much better lived life. We are ever so grateful for this wonderful community of pet lovers. 💖
Yes it does and it take little effort. 🙂
Happy Thankful Thursday! <3
At the moment I’m thankful that I have a washer & dryer. It’s out there doing the hard work, while I get to stay in here and read blogs!
For several times in the past we didn’t have them, and I had to either schlep the laundry to the landromat, or wash things in the sink with an old fashioned rub board. 🙂
I so remember not having a washer and dryer. Tough times. 🙂
Brian….I am thankful for you. I am thankful for finding both you and Sandi in blogland!
Oh thank you, Pam. 🙂
Exactly, we should focus on what we have, not what we want to have. Thanks for reminding me!
I agree. Want is not always need. 🙂
Thankful for spring blooms… Awakening, renewal, hope!
I love spring blooms. 🙂
I’m thankful for a beautiful day today!
Me too, me too. 🙂
Today we are thankful the sun is shining and hopefully the ground is drying up a bit. It’s tough for Mom and Lightning with all the storms we have had. Rain returns overnight:( But let’s be thankful for all the beauty that rain brings to Mother Nature.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
We finally have no rain and we’re happy about that. Prayers for Lightning. 🙂
Wonderful things to be thankful for. XO
Yes indeed, Ellen. 🙂
We got the generator serviced today, and our Generator Dude is willing to take payments!
Your thankful shares are great! I am thankful for a lot so grateful to come and share it here and with Brian. Except twice now I came over to share and the crazy image went wild and shared my post too many times. II just hope your weekend is wonderful, like you are! Thank you for always being such a good friend. HUGS
Thank you. I love your comments. They always make me feel so special. You’re a good friend too. Thank you for that. Hugs. 🙂
