Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.

I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

“Having somewhere to go is home. Having someone to love is family. Having both is a blessing.”

“The things you take for granted… someone else is praying for.”

“As we express our gratitude … we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words but to live by them.”

“Along my journey I have learned that the more thankful I am, the more I have to be thankful for.”

“Give thanks for a little and you will find a lot.” Source: Your Tango

Wonderful quotes and all so very true. The older I get the more I realize that I have a lot to be thankful for. Even the things that used to annoy me I can now find some positive in

I’m thankful for my grandchildren too. I’m even more thankful for my great grandchildren. We have three now. See ya, Paul. 🙂

I’m thankful we’re on the back side of winter….although we’d never know it because it’s SNOWING again this morning with more forecasted over the weekend! I’ll need to keep your quotes front and center…because it will be hard to be thankful for sub-zero temperatures on Sunday night! Hope your weekend is warm and wonderful.

Me too, Lisa. I’m so ready for a taste of spring. We’re heading to the boat tomorrow for the weekend and warm isn’t on the menu. We’ll still have a wonderful weekend. You do the same. 🙂

You did comment, but for some reason it’s taking WordPress time for the comments to show up. This is about the third day this has been happening. Bugger. 🙂

Stopping by to say hi. It’s been a long, long while. Hope this finds you doing well. The blessings of a home and family truly are things to be tankful for.

“The things you take for granted… someone else is praying for.” – I can remember feeling this way from the time I was about 5 yrs. old on. I don’t know if it’s something my parents taught me or if this feeling just always was but I have felt this deep in my soul my whole life. Interestingly enough, my bed is always on the top of my “thankful” list. So weird.. Maybe I didn’t have one in a past life. – Great list of quotes, Sandee. Love you much! <3

It’s a good thing to know indeed. Often people look at only the negative things in their lives. Not a good approach. There are so many blessings if we just take the time to look. Have a great day and weekend, Karen. 🙂

    Those are great quotes!

I feel pretty lucky. I’m thankful for my friends (in person, in California, second life, and blogging), family, cats and health. Oh and my camera and blogging too.
