It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for. I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

I’m thankful that Christmas is over along with the hustle and bustle.
I’m thankful that hubby and I are planning our New Years dinner. We decided to have meatloaf, potatoes and gravy, broccoli and garlic bread. Hubby and I love meatloaf.
I’m thankful for another year doing what we love. Boating and hanging out with our friends. We’ve enjoyed another wonderful year together.
What are you thankful for today?
I love meatloaf too.
My list of things to be thankful for is incredibly long. So today I’m thankful for the long list.
Come on over and join us, Ann. Bring Gibbs. 🙂
Yep all over and done with for another year heheh!
I’m just thankful the sun is out in London and it ain’t raining heheh!
Have a thankfultastic TTS ➡
Enjoy the sunshine, Steve. I don’t like rainy weather. Have a thankfultastic TT too Steve. 🙂
Sandee,
Mmm, that sounds like a good NY’s eve dinner planned. We’ll probably have our usual – pizza! I will make my world famous Black Olive and Onion dip to serve on bagels and some fried spicy potato wedges. I’m sure I’ll make a few other finger foods to enjoy. I usually make more than we need but it doesn’t go to waste as it’s great to put away for another evening. 🙂 I hope your Christmas was beautiful and pray for God’s blessings for you in 2019, my friend! XO
Pizza is good too and way easier too. I’m coming to your house for the finger food. Our Christmas was wonderful. I hope you have a fabulous 2019, my friend. Love you. 🙂
We are so thankful for everything we have. Good food, good house, lots of space and for all our great blogging friends. Meatloaf sounds like such a good idea. Maybe we will that that too. Sandee, you and Zane have a terrific day today.
We are both very lucky gals, Marg. I wish you could join us for dinner. You have a terrific day too. 🙂
Yum! I haven’t made meatloaf in such a long time. Sounds like a good idea! One more thing to be thankful for! 😀 <3
It’s a good idea. We’re looking forward to a great meal. 🙂
My mom likes meatloaf, everyone always makes fun of meatloaf, but it is tasty.
I was raised on meatloaf. It’s ever so good. 🙂
First, I’m always thankful for being alive. I’m thankful for my wife who is my rock and thankful for my family. I’m thankful for all my blogging friends who take their time to read and comment my blog. And finally I’m thankful for God allowing me the chance to cruise which I love. There are so many things that I’m thankful for but it would take more time write. Oh by the way, I’m also thankful for you Sandee that you & I are friends again. 2019 will be a wonderful years.
Cruisin Paul
You’re a lucky guy, Paul. I too am happy that we cleared the air. We were always friends, we just weren’t speaking to each other for a bit. 🙂
Lovely! I wish you all the best with the new year.
I wish the the best in the new year too, Darla. 🙂
I love meatloaf and haven’t had it in a long time. Thanks for the reminder. Happy Thursday!
We haven’t had it for a long time either, so we’re looking forward to it on new years day. 🙂
I’m thankful for Chinese takeout on NYE!
Chinese takeout is a good thing to have on new years eve. I love Chinese. 🙂
I’m thankful I got to visit with family and friends over the holiday. ((Hugs))
That’s a good thing. We did the same and it’s wonderful. Hugs back. 🙂
Sounds like a super plan. Meatloaf is delicious. We haven’t had it for quite awhile. Should be time for a meatloaf soon.
Have a great New Years.
Jean
We love meatloaf and we rarely have it. We just wanted to do something different. You have a great new year too. 🙂
I am so happy that you’ve been doing what you love for this past year. I hope that you have many more years of it! I feel the same way about my life.
We spent many years doing things our bosses wanted done. Now we do what we want to do. We like that a lot. 🙂
Please set an extra plate for New Year’s Eve…your menu has my mouth watering.
Hugs Cecilia
Not a problem, Cecilia. Would love to have you join us. 🙂
I’m thankful for time off work, woohoo, woohoo, woohoo!
Enjoy your long holiday off. I know you’ll do some fun things. 🙂
Oh meatloaf always smells grand and here’s to a happy 2019. Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
It’s cold and we gravitate to comfort food when it’s cold. I love your Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. 🙂
While it’s always hectic, it’s a relief that it’s over now. Now we can spend the rest of winter recovering from the crazy hustle and bustle of the howlidays. Happy 2019!
Yes we can. It slows down and I’m happy about that. Happy 2019 to you too. 🙂
Good to relax and stay warm now. 😇
Yes it is and we are. We’re off to the boat tomorrow so it will be cold outside, but we’ll have the heaters on. 🙂
Stay warm. 🛥
We stay up to midnight on New Year’s Eve, to watch our city’s fireworks display.
We go to bed around 10pm, like we do every night. We’re old. It’s all good. 🙂
Happy Thankful Thursday! I’m happy we all had a nice Christmas, especially the grand-kids. <3
Yes, ours did too. It’s time for the kids as far as we’re concerned. 🙂
That sounds like a nice meal, I love meatloaf. I have recently started baking bbq sauce on the top which makes it even better.
I’ve not tried that. The one we’re making has a Mexican flair. Chili powder and chilies. We like that combo. 🙂
I’m thankful that you host so many fun blog hops! Hope you have a wonderful new year celebration!
Thank you so much. I enjoy doing memes. Have for many years. 🙂
It sounds like a great dinner, and that reminds me, i have to get the black-eyed peas and cabbage for New Year’s Day.
Oh the black-eyed peas. Not something we do, but many do. 🙂
I am thankful for good blogging friends like you. I took a few days off, but I am back just in time for new Year’s!
And you;re a great blogging friend too. I’m thankful for that. 🙂
Those are nice things to be thankful for, fur sure. I am thankful that my Papa is feeling better. He wasn’t feeling so good on Christmas, so Mom and Dad didn’t even have a Christmas dinner. Purrs.
I’m glad your papa is feeling better. We don’t like it when our peeps are under the weather. 🙂
I’m grateful the hubbub of Christmas is over. It was way more meaningful when the girls were little. I am grateful our new kitten has gone from a Tasmanian devil and is now a super sweet cuddly kitten. I’m glad we didn’t give up on her.
She’s glad you didn’t give up on her too. Excellent. 🙂
