It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for. I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.
Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.
I’m thankful we’ve had a lot of rain. It has cleared the smoky air and helped put out the fires. Fresh air is wonderful after weeks and weeks of forest fire smoke.
I’m thankful that we are all done with Christmas shopping. It’s always such a relief.
I’m thankful that today there is sunshine. After all the rain it’s good to see a beautiful blue sky and the sun.
I’m thankful for all of my visitors. You’re the reason I keep blogging. Thank you!
What are you thankful for today?
I’m thankful that you got rain to clear the smokey air.
There were times it was so smokey you couldn’t see the sun. Horrible. 🙂
I’m thankful for a little cold weather because it reminds me how fortunate I am to be back home where it’s not all that cold after all in the winter months. Even the little cold snaps are too cold for me, but if I put in perspective, I’m pretty lucky. It’s 23 degrees where my mom lives.
I’m not a fan of cold weather, but it’s what it is. Our winters aren’t much here. 🙂
Glad you got some rain and the air cleared a bit. Smoke would not be good.
California burns every year. Forest management is non-existent here. 🙂
Today I am thankful for the Amazon gift card I won in a giveaway! It’s only $5 but it made by day!
It is nice to win a giveaway isn’t it. I enjoy it too. 🙂
That is a great thankful list, Sandee. 😊
I am grateful for food in the house, the ability to cook, and for people that will eat my cooking.
I am also thankful for my Bible and all that it represents. It brings me a smile for many reasons. One reason is a mistake that I made it it. David gave me this Bible back in 1985, the year after we got married. I was trying to learn calligraphy at the time. I decided to fill in the family pages using calligraphy. It was going perfectly until I realized that I had written 1985 instead of 1984 for our wedding date. But, boy, was that a beautiful 5! 😊
Have a blessed weekend!
Oh well, it’s not that big of a mistake. Cute. You have a blessed weekend too. 🙂
Thanks. 🙂
I’m thankful for our online friendship. 🙂 Have a blessed day!
Me too, Darla. When I switched from Blogspot to WordPress I found lots of very cool people. You have a blessed day too. 🙂
We are all thankful for our good health. We are thankful for the roof over our heads and our good food. We sure are thankful for you and Zane, Sandee. You all have a fantastic day.
Those are all good things to be thankful for, Marg. I’m happy we’ve been friends for so many years. 🙂
Hooray, your clear air is way over due! Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
We were dancing in the street when the rains came. Cleared the air right up and we were ever so grateful. 🙂
Wow, I guess there is a reason to be glad we have an abundance of rain.
I am thankful that you continue blogging so I can visit you everyday, my blogging buddy!
I am also thankful we will be able to go to Florida to see friends & relatives over Christmas.
Merry Christmas!! ((Hugs))
I hope to have some posts scheduled for next week even though I will be on vacation.
Enjoy your vacation. I know you will. Hope you have warm weather in Florida. Big hugs. 🙂
I’m always thankful just to be still alive at 69 years old but I’m thankful with my wife especially. She’s my rock. I’m thankful with my cruisin which I’ll be on Jan. 18, 2019 and after meeting with my travel agent to pick up my cruisin papers, my wife & I have planned next years cruise.
One other thankful is, having to get back with you Sandee. They say that Christmas time is a happy time. I agree.
See ya.
Cruisin Paul
I’ll enjoy all your pictures when you return from your cruise. I know how you both love to cruise. I too am happy we’re back together, Paul. I really did miss you. 🙂
Can’t we find a day to counterbalance Thankful Thursday when we get to vent our gripes?
I love your snarky comments. They make me laugh. I’m thankful for your sense of humor. 🙂
I am thankful the rain helped clear the air from smoke in your area. We’re having seasonal weather in my neck of the woods, which I enjoy colder weather. With that said, I am thankful I am inside where it is warm.
Me too, it was awful air here for weeks and weeks. I don’t mind the cooler temperatures, but I love being warm inside our home the very best during the winter months. 🙂
Hahaha, to what Kismet commented above! Sure, why not? Maybe one day a month, to VENT our frustrations…and then laugh at ourselves!
Kismet says something funny almost every single day. He’s that kind of bird. 🙂
Well done on getting your Christmas shopping done already! The stores are so crazy this time of year that it’s nice to know that you don’t have to fight the crowds.
You can’t get me to go to the mall most of the time during the year, but after Thanksgiving forget it. I’m not going. 🙂
Thankful for you too ~ lovey post and Xox from Ms. Z and me ~
Happy Day to you,
A ShutterBug Explores,
aka (A Creative Harbor)
I’m so glad I found you and Ms. Zoe. You’ve both been such a joy. Happy day to you both. 🙂
I’m thankful I found your blog…all because of my Diva Angel.
We still have snow all over the front yard. Our house faces north. I’ll be happy when it is gone.
Hugs Cecilia
Yes, all because of Diva Angel. I’m so happy I found you too. I hope the snow is gone and soon. Hugs back. 🙂
I am trying to slowley get back into this blogging groove. Always my pleasure to see everyone and all the wonderful shares. 🙂
You do what you have to do, Anne. You’re in my reader so when you post something I’ll know. Happy Birthday to all the birthdays you have this month. 🙂
Like you, I am thankful for my blogging visitors and you hold the record for the visitor that has been stopping by my corner of cyberspace the longest. It’s hard to believe that we’ve been sharing comments for a decade! Have a blessed day.
I know, but it’s true. You’ve been a long time friend. I’m happy about that. 🙂
I always enjoy your thankful lists.
Thank you, Ellen. I so love this meme. 🙂
I’m happy the smoky skies have cleared up for your area, too. I’m thankful we haven’t been blown away today, as the cold front has moved in. The wind has been gusting for at least 12 hours now, even up to 60 + mph. It’s still howling out there! 🙂
I don’t like the wind. Trees start coming down and other things that can hurt you start blowing all over the place. I hope the wind stops soon. 🙂
We’re thankful for all our friends and all the new ones we make every day. I’m thankful for the housekeeper, too, (no, she’s not going to see this, at least I don’t think so) but she mustn’t know what I said, or she’ll think I’m getting all soft and mushy. – Tom x
Meeting new people is fun. I would love to have a housekeeper. It used to be so easy, but it’s not anymore. Thanks for swinging by and leaving a comment. 🙂
I can always find something to be thankful for especially after doing a pet therapy visit where we see some incredibly sick people. Both physically and emotionally. This week I met one of the nicest couples in hospice and after hearing all the ailments the husband has endured over the past 4 years, I immediately thought how grateful I was for reasonably good health.
I hear you. You can really learn to be thankful going to places like that. Bless you for doing so. I know they appreciate it. 🙂
We are thankful the rain is over for now, too. It was quite a soggy day, and we should get colder air behind it and a few days of sun.
We loved the rain because of the fires, but also because we live in a desert. Tomorrow I’ll have new linkies for Feline Friday. Hope it helps. 🙂
I am glad the fires are out and the rain has cleared the smoke. Living in the countryside I take fresh air for granted and can’t imagine the misery the polluted atmosphere causes.
It happens every summer here. They quit doing forest management because it was too expensive, but now that a lot of people died we’ll see what happens. 🙂
I wish I was done with my Christmas shopping! I still have to buy for my mother, sister and daughter! (The collies were done first, of course! lol)
Well, you have time. I used to shop right up until Christmas. I just can’t do that anymore. 🙂
Sometimes it is the simplest things in life that call for the most thankfulness. We are glad you got that much needed rain and now some glorious sunshine.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
It is the simple things that are the most cherished. I feel that every single day, not just during the holidays 🙂
I’m thankful the fires are out there. They’re so scary! We had blue sky today too and I’m thankful because the rains will be returning. As for Christmas shopping, I haven’t even started yet. Ay yi yi!
It’s supposed to rain today. I’m good with that since we live in a desert. You haven’t even started your Christmas shopping. Oh my. 🙂
I am thankful I only have maybe 3 more gifts to buy (we are doing Chanukah on Christmas lol)……then it is all done!! xoxo
Then you’re close. I hate shopping this time of year. Being done is a good thing. 🙂
Sorry for the politics, but I’m thankful for the president that we have instead of the one we could’ve had shudder
That makes two of us, Cube. 🙂
Cute kitty. I’m thankful for everything. Especially my cat Daisy Mae.
As you should be. Daisy Mae is a cutie pie. 🙂
Yay! for the rain!
It was most welcome after all the smoke for weeks and weeks. 🙂
Ugh, we are so not done with shopping yet. Hopefully soon! Or Christmas Eve….. 🙂
We have our last trip to our granddaughters home next Sunday and all the gifts are gone. I just can’t stand shopping this time of year. You’re young, you’ll get it done. 🙂
