Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for. I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

Today I’m thankful for our upcoming Change of Watch for our yacht club. It’s time to change the guard and that’s a good thing.

I’m thankful that I’m going to be the club treasurer again next year. It’s a way to give back so the members can enjoy events throughout the year.

I’m thankful hubby is going to be a director again next year. He figures if I have to go to the club meetings then he might as well go too.

I’m thankful for all of my visitors and especially thankful for your comments. They mean so much to me.

What are you thankful for today?

Congrats on being treasurer again. I’m thankful my formal review is today. The other teachers think I’m crazy to do it this week (they’re waiting until the end of the year), but I’d just as soon get it out of the way before the holidays begin. Have a wonderful day!

Yeah for being treasurer again. They are lucky to have you.
Today I’m thankful that there is no additional snow in my driveway or on my sidewalk and nothing needs to be shoveled right now.

Congrats on your keeping your treasurer’s position. And congrats to Zane too. We are thankful for a lot of things, the cats here, the donkeys, our house etc and we are very thankful to have you and Zane as our friends. Hope you two have a great week end.

We’ve already done the yacht club stuff before, but they needed help so we said okay. I’m glad the kitties are getting better. That’s great news. You have a great weekend too, Marg. 🙂

Pretty much the way it goes, Brian. We are doing well and with everyone following the budget it sure helps. 🙂

I don’t have sticky fingers and I have my books available to anyone that want’s to see where the money is and where it goes. I also do a budget each year so we know our operating costs and how much revenue we need to do some special things for our members at the end of each year. 🙂

Hi Sandee, you are very involved with your yacht club. I have no idea what a Change Of Watch is but it sounds intreguing… Today I’m thankful for having a log burner to warm the house. Winter has arrived and it’s freezing out.

    xx

We’ve been active for about 13 years now. It’s a good thing. Having a warm home in the winter is wonderful indeed. 🙂

I’m thankful not to be on any committee. lol But seriously, I’m grateful to be able bodied and free of chronic pain. My friends that suffer through life, making the best of it they can, have motivated me to get to the gym more.

Good thankfuls. Always nice when we can do things together with spouse. The Golden Gate Bridge scared me as a child even when in the car. We drove over it lots to visit my aunt and uncle who live in San Rafael. It has seen the death of many including the brother-in-law of my friend’s daughter. Very sad. • Comedy Plus says:

I’ve lived in California since 1969 and I always said I’d walk that bridge. We finally did a few years ago. What gets me is hubby has repelled off hotels in his younger years and now he’s ever so afraid of heights. Age I guess. Yes many have died jumping off that bridge and only 25 survived. That’s not many out of 1,700 since the bridge was built. 🙂

Those are great things to be thankful for!!! I am thankful that my husband and I got to enjoy precious one-on-one time with our granddaughter when we babysat this past Tuesday xoxoxo (I was also thankful to leave…too many diaper changes and one melt down!!) lol!!! Love you! xoxo

    • Comedy Plus says:

Being with the grands is wonderful. We’re looking forward to the twins arrival on February 4th next year. So exciting. Love you back. Scritches to Dakota and Cody. 🙂
