Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for. I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

I’m thankful we have such a great boat mechanic. He never lets us down and that’s a good thing when you depend on your boat to get you from point A and back. You also depend on your head, galley, running water, and no leaks. A good mechanic is priceless.

I’m thankful it’s Thanksgiving this month. It’s always such a great time of year. Hubby and I enjoy our time together and give thanks for all our blessings.

I’m thankful for having such a wonderful life. I had a rough start and I never dreamed I’d be this fortunate in my old age.

I’m thankful for my granddaughter who is pregnant with twins. We’ll be there to welcome these two precious babies into the world.

What are you thankful for today?

No leaks in a boat is a very good thing. 🙂
This morning I”m thankful for the cup of hot coffee and the time I have to sit and visit with my blog friends before I have to head out and start my day.

Yes it is, Ann. We have a nice dry boat. I too love my coffee in the morning. I used to go to work Monday through Friday, but I’m happy to be retired. It’s a wonderful thing. 🙂

I hear you about being thankful for your family, friends and job. I know you love your job this year and that’s awesome. You have a lovely day too. 🙂

I am thankful for such great family and friends. ((Hugs))

Yes, a good mechanic is a blessing. Whether it be for vehicle or boat.
Congratulations on the twins. That is exciting that you get to be there 🙂

It’s the first twins in many years. My aunt and uncle that twins and my grandmother had triplets. Thanks for hosting the Thank Thursday Blog Hop. 🙂

My mother has said that she’d always hoped to have twin boys. She didn’t, but her first born had twin daughters! My little sister and I were close enough in age that we were almost twinsies; wearing matching clothes, etc.

  4. Veronica Lee says:

    Congrats on the twins!
Today I was stung by a bee when I unknowingly stepped on it. I was really thankful that I did not have any allergic reaction save for a throbbing toe!
My cousin almost died from a bee sting.

Sandee you have some wonderful thankfuls for this Thursday. I am thankful for my husband, because without him I don’t know where I would be, seriously. Have a beautiful thankful Thursday honey.
Love and giant hugs ❤ 🤗

I’m grateful for our good economy. This economy is doing so well that we’re having trouble finding help to keep up with all the work we have awarded to our company. That’s better than having little work under obama. Why don’t the dems realize that a rising tide raises all boats? sigh

  7. The OP Pack says:

We have many of the same things to be thankful for, although no boat here:) Mom and Dad have twin grands, a girl and a boy. They also have four others. She says the whole twin experience has been amazing. Lots of hard work the first year, but so much joy watching them all grow and become beautiful humans.

Sorry I got so political above, but besides the years when when our girls were born, 2009 was the year when my brother and my sister both had babies in stable, wonderful homes. I hope the very best for your twins. I think that babies bring our the best in all families and i wish the best for yours.

    • Comedy Plus says:

You and I are pretty much the same where politics are concerned. No worries. Babies do bring the best out in families. 🙂

I am so grateful to be going on ‘howliday’ soon to decompress after a bruising election. I’m also extraordinarily grateful for my two knuckleheads who somehow always manage to make me smile when I need it most. 😊

Oh boy…great-grandma to twins…that is going to be super exiting. I too am looking forward to Thanksgiving. Last year was the first time we ever had Thanksgiving with family since we have been married (45 years). It was the best Thanksgiving ever, and we are doing it again this year! Hugs, Janet

    • Comedy Plus says:

Glad you’re finally able to comment. I hate it when our comment systems don’t work right. You have been married 45 years? Wow. 🙂

Hi Sandee, how wonderful that your life turned out different than you expected. Maybe the rough start set you in good stead?… OooOOOOooo and I hope all goes well with your granddaughters pregnancy. To be a Great Grandma is special!
