It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.
I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

What are you thankful for today?
I like all of these quotes. Have a wonderful day
Thank you, Ann. You have a wonderful day too. 🙂
Great quotes! The 2nd quote is a good reminder to always wear a smile to share with others.
Yes, wearing a smile makes things better. 🙂
Those are all so wonderful! Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
You’re most welcome, Brian. It’s good to be thankful. 🙂
Great quotes. Really like the second one. Nothing better than a nice smile. Sandee, you and Zane have a fantastic day.
It makes the wearer feel better and everyone around them is happier too. 🙂
My Mom used that last quote all the time. I never knew it came from a Saint, I was told it came from Miss Blatz, my mom’s third grade teacher.
Well, now you do. Some of these quotes have been around a very long time. 🙂
We are thankful that Brian pulls us all together once a week, and it provides us all with positive vibes!
I agree with you. He does just that and it’s a very good thing. 🙂
Putting our heart, mind and soul into even the smallest tasks is a reminder that any work worth doing, is worth doing well. Everything we do speaks to our value system and the most valuable thing we possess is our reputation. It takes a lifetime to build a good reputation and only an instant to ruin it. So, if you decide to do something, decide to do it to the best of your ability.
I agree with you. Doing something well is what we should all strive to do. About ones reputation. I agree with that too. Once you’ve lost your reputation it’s gone forever. 🙂
A reputation can be rebuilt but it takes a long time and, for some, there will always be that asterisk marking the fall and there will always be those waiting for the other shoe to drop.
oh my- what lovely quotes!
Thanks, Kathe. When you’re cruising you go for easy. I did that this week. 🙂
Those are wonderful quotes! We’re thankful for friends like you and treats. Mommy would be thankful for a nap but for now she’s thankful she’s survived another 5am boot camp.
Have a fabulous day!
I’m thankful for you too. I hope mom gets some sleep soon. I know Lexi is wearing her down. 🙂
All most wonderful quotations, and sometimes overlooked. The simple truths, and gifts, are often the ones we should be most grateful for but overlook the most.

ERin
So very true, ERin. You are a very wise kitty. 🙂
How would Helen Keller know?
Apparently she had her ways. 🙂
Great quotes. Have a nice day 🙂
Thanks, and you have a nice day too. 🙂
wonderful quotes! Sending bunches of love! xoxo
Thank you and sending bunches love love back. 🙂
Never heard I don’t think of any of these, then again, not a follower of the people who spoke them, but I warm up to the smile being the beginning of love.
I’m sure you do, Greg. As you should. 🙂
Good ones, for sure! Happy day! 😻
Thank you, Linda and happy day to you too. 🙂
Lovely thoughts, and i hope you had a great Thursday!
I did have a great Thursday. I’m looking forward to a great weekend too. I wish you the same. 🙂
You had me at Helen Keller. Not much positive to say on this end because it’s hard to take out time itching mosquito bites to type anything
I hate mosquito bites. They itch for days. I hope they heal up soon. 🙂
While every one of those images paired with quotes are wonderful, I really like the last one from St. Jerome….although the one from Helen Keller is very poignant. Hope your weekend is restful and fantastic. xoxo
Thank you, Lisa. I hope your weekend is restful and fantastic too. 🙂
Beautiful and inspirational quotes. Thank you for sharing and have a great weekend!
I thought so too, Eugenia. You have a great weekend too. 🙂
Those are some beautiful and meaningful quotes. So touching. We hope lots of people who really need to hear their messages pay a visit here:)
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
There are so many that need to read and heed these quotes. 🙂
Hi Sandee, thought provoking quotes. My favourite is the 3rd, it’s so easy just to do enough.
xx
These are great quotes! I love the one on friendship. It’s so true. Without friends (and spouses count as friends because just passion alone does not make a long-term relationship), sunlight seems dimmer but with a good friend, the nights seem brighter.
