Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.

I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

My Mom used that last quote all the time. I never knew it came from a Saint, I was told it came from Miss Blatz, my mom’s third grade teacher.

Putting our heart, mind and soul into even the smallest tasks is a reminder that any work worth doing, is worth doing well. Everything we do speaks to our value system and the most valuable thing we possess is our reputation. It takes a lifetime to build a good reputation and only an instant to ruin it. So, if you decide to do something, decide to do it to the best of your ability.

I agree with you. Doing something well is what we should all strive to do. About ones reputation. I agree with that too. Once you’ve lost your reputation it’s gone forever. 🙂

A reputation can be rebuilt but it takes a long time and, for some, there will always be that asterisk marking the fall and there will always be those waiting for the other shoe to drop.

You had me at Helen Keller. Not much positive to say on this end because it’s hard to take out time itching mosquito bites to type anything

While every one of those images paired with quotes are wonderful, I really like the last one from St. Jerome….although the one from Helen Keller is very poignant. Hope your weekend is restful and fantastic. xoxo

Those are some beautiful and meaningful quotes. So touching. We hope lots of people who really need to hear their messages pay a visit here:)

These are great quotes! I love the one on friendship. It’s so true. Without friends (and spouses count as friends because just passion alone does not make a long-term relationship), sunlight seems dimmer but with a good friend, the nights seem brighter.
