It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.
I think it’s a good thing to do each week.
Focus on the positive things in our lives.

I’m thankful for for the wonderful cruise we had last weekend to Stockton Yacht Club. This is their dining room all set up for dinner. It was Luau night and the meal was fabulous. Saturday nights are always the centerpiece of any yacht club.
I’m thankful on the way home to our marina we crossed paths with this sailboat. Being out on the water is a wonderful thing to do. We are most grateful we are able to go boating.
What are you thankful for today?
I’m always happy to see sailboats on the water. I’m grateful that we live in Florida. I truly love it here.
Me too. I don’t care for the state of California. They have gone off the track long ago, but there is a lot of beautiful places here. 🙂
Wow, that sure looks like a great place to have dinner. Sounds like your cruise was a great success. Pretty sailboat. Sandee, you and Zane have a great day.
We have two great dinners and one fabulous breakfast here. One of our favorite places to visit. 🙂
Such a pretty place! Hey, during racing downtime my Dad once did a stint on an America’s Cup yacht, he said it was way too much work and prefers a boat with a start button MOL! Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
We have those start buttons. It’s expensive gas wise, but it sure is easier. You’re most welcome for the join. I love this blog hop. 🙂
The dinner place looks a nice place to have dinner. I like sailboat too. Enjoy your boating!
We’ve been coming here for years and I’ve never had a bad meal. They know how to do things right. 🙂
Such a lovely place, i’m glad you were able to go!
We are too, my friend. We had a great time as always. 🙂
My peep went sailing near the mouth of the Thames River (no, not London but New London in Connecticut). It’s home to a lot of submarines. One had to alter course because sailboats have the right of way.
Yes, for the most part sailboats have the right of way. Not always, but most of the time. 🙂
Beautiful! Thank you for the sweet well wishes on my little blog. I’m thankful for my husband, whose stewardship of our money helped me retire in my early forties. Plus, to celebrate our anniversary he made hotel reservations at my favorite place on earth, North Carolina’s Outer Banks, for later in the year. Best wishes to you and yours, my dear.
You have a great husband like I do. We are lucky gals. Best wishes to you and yours too, Darla. 🙂
Those boats look so lovely. It is so nice you got to go.

We go somewhere every single month. Winter and all. Sometimes we are driving in our car, but mostly we go by boat. 🙂
I love the water! Although we haven’t been by the water in ages. It is so calming.
Sandee, thank you for faithfully stopping b y and commenting on my blog.
Have a great weekend!
It is very calming. I love to read while on our boat. It’s the best. You’re most welcome for my visits and comments, Michelle. You have a great week too. 🙂
Looks like fun to me Sandee. I am glad you two had a wonderful time ♥
Love & Big Hugs ♥
It was lots of fum, Judy. Love and big hugs back. 🙂
Me? I’m thankful for my hubby! He’s the bestest! Oooo that looks like tons of fun! You go boating? Cool! I don’t think I’d mind going boating, but I’d have to see land and be close to it. Titanic did a number on my head for sure. I just couldn’t ever go on one of those cruises. I’d go bonkers! hehehe Thank you for sharing & have a wonderful day!
I’m thankful for my hubby too. He’s the bestest too. Yes we’ve had a boat since 2004. We love all things boating. You have a wonderful day too, Marie. 🙂
I am Thankful that my Brother In Law Stan is no longer suffering from cancer. Please forgive me for not doing Feline Friday this week.
I’m thankful for that if you are too, Mike. It’s hard to watch them suffer. Not a problem skipping Feline Friday. I didn’t figure you’d be in the mood for a bit. Take care, Mike. Big hug to you and Celestine. 🙂
That sounds like a fun cruise.
It was, Ellen. We had a great time and the weather was perfect. 🙂
Looks as if you had a great weekend. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
We did and we’re going to do it again next month. 🙂
That looks like fun. I think it’s always more fun when you can meet other people who enjoy doing the same thing. What kind of things do you do all day when you are cruising?
We had a Saturday potluck lunch. There was a board meeting just before cocktail hour. People play games. There was corn-hole and dominoes. There was a game of quarters too. There is always something going on. 🙂
Wow now THATis one heck of a place to have a gorgeous and glorious meal and a sail,
Sunny daycare happy days – right?
It sure was. We had a fabulous weekend. 🙂
Yes, being out on the water is something to be thankful for. I’d like to be on a yacht from time to time.
Nothing like taking a comfortable cruise on a yacht. 🙂
Hi Sandee, I get panicky on a padalo, so as much as my head would love to enjoy a cruise, I know I’d be a twitching mess. Is that dining room set up on the boat like that? I love the colours.
xx
This is their yacht club. We could decorate our boats like this, but it would be a small decorations. We only have two tables on our boat. 🙂
The dining room at the Yacht Club looks awesome! As does that boat. I need to get back to the ocean…
We do love our boat and cruising the delta. 🙂
I LOVE that dining room set up and believe me I’ve set up hundreds, probably thousands. I don’t know, a lot of dining rooms. I so envy you, I should really get a little something like an inflatable canoe or kayak cuz no boat makes Jack something something, especially living so close to a marina.
We’ve been boating since 2004 and we love it now more than we got our boat. It just gets better and better. 🙂
Beautiful photos and grateful messages ~ xxx ~ hugs to all ~ Zoe loves your messages!
Happy Weekend to you,
A ShutterBug Explores,
aka (A Creative Harbor)
And I love Zoe. 🙂
Love your photo, looked like a perfect day, blue skies and blue water. A Hawaiian luau dinner sounds great!
And it wasn’t too hot either. That was the best part. The dinner was delicious. 🙂
that looks like it was an amazing cruise! I am thankful that Dakota is feeling better. He was sick a good portion of last week……my Vet thinks it was from the food transition I was trying..will NEVER do that again. Dakota has eaten ONE food his entire life and then I shocked his system with the transition…..the lesson I learned is, “if it ain’t broke, DON’T fix it!!”
We had to change Little Bits food once and it took us a very long time to do that transition. She didn’t get sick either. The vet told us how it had to be done. Three fourths her old food and one forth the new food for a week, the half and half, then three quarters the new food and a quarter of her old food and on the fourth week the new food. 🙂
How pretty! I love when you share stories and pictures like that 🙂
I’m terrible at picture taking. If I could just take more pictures I’d do much better sharing. 🙂
