Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.

I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

Today I’m thankful that I’m going to cut back on blogging. I’ve been blogging five days a week for years. It’s time to step back and do other things. Beginning next week I’ll be blogging three days a week. Awww Mondays, Happy Tuesday and Wordless Wednesday. The rest of the week I’ll be hit and miss with comments. I intend to do my thankful things on Brian’s blog, Friendly Fill-ins on Ellen’s blog and an occasional Mondays Music Moves Me.

I’m thankful for all the wonderful folks I’ve met participating in Thankful Thursdays. I will continue to visit and comment on your posts.

I’m thankful that I will have more time for boating once the weather warms up. It will take a lot of pressure off me by not having memes to attend to while out on the water.

What are you thankful for today?

this is a good idea and I think there are many of us that feel the same. we will be here when you are here, I have been considereing changes also but can’t decide what I want to do. I have been posting every day for years, and the past 4 years on both blogs. I am considering one blog, or 2 or 3 days on both, other things are playing in my head. there are many who are posting less and less. enjoy your REAL life and fish as much as you can

I had two blogs going at one time and it was to much for me. I’m so looking forward to stepping back. Scritches to Beau and a hug to you, Sandra. 🙂

  2. My GBGV Life says:

We will miss you, but we totally understand. Emma started the blog with random days and eventually she blogged 7 days a week for a couple years. We cut back to five, but sometimes that is a lot too. Enjoy more time for yourself and thank you for hosting, it is not an easy job and we appreciate you for doing it.

I’ve enjoyed it very much, but this year it’s been weighing on my mind to step back some. It’s time. I’ll still be visiting all my buddies. 🙂

I will be missing your Thurs and Fri posts but at least I can visit from Mon to Wed. I agree that blogging can take up a large portion of our time. Wishing you Happy New Year 2023 to you and yours.

Super glad you’re still going to be blogging. Enjoy that extra time (I know you will!). 🙂 I’m super thankful for family time this week. xoxo

I’ll miss your posts every day but I’m glad you will still be around. I think it’s great that you will have extra time with your hubby to do whatever you guys want. Happy New Year!

there you go! I’m sooo proud of you!!! At least you are committing to 3 days per week (which is something I didn’t commit to). For years and years I blogged a minimum of 3 days per week (most weeks more)…once the boys passed (actually even before they passed), blogging had lost it’s luster for me. Now I have NO SCHEDULE. ZIP. NADA. I blog when the mood hits and I am quite happy with this arrangement! It’s quite liberating!! HAPPY NEW YEAR! xoxo

    • Sandee says:

That’s the ticket. Blog when you want to. I don’t think I would ever blog again if I did what you did. It’s all good. Happy New Year. A hug to you and scritches to the boys. 🙂

  8. Memories of Eric and Flynn says:

I agree that blogging takes up so much time. When Flynn died I went to only blogging once a week and said I would only comment on that day, but nearly 6 years later I am still commenting on as many blogs as possible every day. I must try to cut back my commenting. I even forgot it was WW yesterday! If you don’t post again beforehand, have a wonderful New Year and right through 2023.

    • Sandee says:

I hear you on doing to much. Comment is time consuming too, but running a hop really keeps me on my toes. Happy New Year, Jackie. Love and hugs. 🙂

  9. Brian says:

You do so much and you sure should have more time for you. I totally understand running two blogs that post daily as well as one blog hop. We’re thankful to be a part of your blogging circle. Happy Boating and thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

  10. Marvelous Marv says:

Sandee, our Peep feels your tiredness. She is thinking 3 days a week would be purrfect, but when we let her cut back, she cut out! So we are at 5…for a while…we hope…
Keep being awesome. Your #1 Fan Boy Marv

I’m thinking three days a week will work for me. It gives me the long weekends for boating without the stress of trying to keep up with the hops. Happy New Year. Scritches all around, a smooch to Marv and a big hug to mom. Love of love to all too. 🙂
