Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.

I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

Today I’m thankful our remodel of upstairs is partly done. We’re in a lull as our workers are working on another project that is time sensitive. We hope to have them back soon. We will be so very happy to get all our furniture back and put our things away.

I’m thankful that we’re giving most of our downstairs furniture to our granddaughter. We bought new furniture for our great room and our dining room.

This is the set we got, but just the sofa and loveseat.

I’m thankful that pretty soon hubby and I can clean, clean and clean all the dust away.

What are you thankful for today?

It will be like having a whole fresh start with the remodeling done and new furniture! Your granddaughter will appreciate your old furniture as well. It is perfect for everyone.

We are so pleased. The moving company is coming December 2 to pick up the kids’ furniture and on the 7th we get our new furniture. Happy Thursday. 🙂

What wonderful thankfuls! I know our neighbors are thankful for our remodels…as things were being moved, most of the excess are put out in front of the house by the telephone pole with a giant FREE to Good Home sign. Everything is usually gone in hours. Yes, Mom could sell the stuff, but a lot of the people in our village are on fixed incomes (like Mom). Mom gets lots of Thanks when she goes to the store from the people who pick stuff up. AND we are thankful for YOU Sandee! Your hops are the bestest! Keep being awesome!

We don’t do yard sales either. There is always someone who needs things. That’s a good thing. Happy Thursday. Scritches all around, a smooch to Marv and a big hug to you, Barb. 🙂

Recently visited the public library, which is at the end of a major facelift.
The taste and smell of dust and metal and wood was in my nose and clothes, so I can imagine what it’s like at home during your renovation.

It’s lovely you were able to pass down your furniture to your granddaughter, and I bet she’s grateful for that, too. Hope the renovations re-start again soon and all goes smoothly! xxxx

  7. Xena and Lucy says:

Xena: Hey, that looks a lot like our furniture. We had Mr. Otto Man, too, but Daddy got rid of it. We’re not sure why….
Amy: I can only imagine how glad you’ll be when that upstairs reno is done. Can’t wait to see the pics!
