It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for. I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.
Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.
I’m thankful that hubby and I are going to visit our granddaughter and great granddaughter in their new home. It’s a big step for them to have a home of their own. We are so proud.
I’m thankful that the weather is warm and we can enjoy outdoor activities without freezing to death. Our weather has been really weird this year.
I’m thankful that I have a home to live in. I’m protected from the weather. I have a nice bed to sleep in every night. There are many that don’t have this. I see way too many homeless.
It’s not happy people who are thankful, it’s thankful people that are happy.
What are you thankful for today?
It’s not happy people who are thankful, it’s thankful people that are happy. That really does say it all. I know so many people who are always complaining about one thing or another. I just can’t imagine living like that.
Complaining doesn’t help one bit. Never has and never will. 🙂
Great thankful Thursday. I really like that saying. Sandee, hope you and Zane have a fabulous day.
Thanks, Marg. You have a fabulous day, too. 🙂
Wonderful quote to remember. Happy Thursday! 🙂
It sure is, my friend. 🙂
We enjoyed that quote too. Have a fun time on your visit! Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Thanks, Brian. We have much to be thankful for. Thanks for hosting Thankful Thursday. 🙂
I am thankful that the grandcrew live in the same town and we have been able to watch them grow up. I am thankful that I was born in the greatest nation on earth and am the beneficiary of all that this nation has to offer. There are tens of millions around this world that would trade places with us in a minute. We are blessed beyond our imagination. Have a blessed week-end.
You and I think so much alike. I’m proud to call you my friend. 🙂
I love this list. I too am thankful for a wonderful bed to sleep in at night. I’ve never been without one but I’ve seen so many who are and have been. There far too many homeless in our streets and I really do feel for them.. – I’m doing a HUGE happy dance about your visit to your grands. Omgosh, nothing does a soul better. So, so happy for you. And I agree, it is the thankful who are happy and absolutely taking nothing for granted.. Every moment is such a gift.. YOU are a gift, Sandee. 🙂
You are a gift too, Karen. 🙂
I am glad I can be thankful for so many people and things that I have blessed with.
