It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.
I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.
Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.
Today I’m thankful that hubby and I went to the boat to get her ready for the winter. The screens came down and the isinglass went up. We ran the generator and got the dehumidifier out to run when we’re gone. We decided to go to dinner at The Point Restaurant because with the construction going on we don’t know when we’ll be back to the boat.
While being seated I noticed an oil painting on the wall of the delta that was not far from where we were seated. It was named The Point View. I fell in love with this painting and hubby knew it. He bought it and I’m so thankful to add it to our other paintings.
What are you thankful for today?

What a beautiful gift from your hubby. He is very observant and thoughtful. Beautiful painting.
He is both of those things, Nancy. We are both lucky gals. 🙂
I agree! It made me go squee inside. 😀 My husband is NOT observant but still an awesome guy. lol Blessings, my dear.
How nice of your husband to buy the painting. It is really nice
He treats me wonderfully. 🙂
It’s that time of year to put things to bed for the winter. Love your new painting!
It sure is and we’ve done that. It’s still warm here in the afternoons. 🙂
We like that painting too! It will be great in your “new” home. It’s time to prepare for winter. Good thing you are getting the work done now so you can be on the boat again when it is nice out in the spring/summer.
It gets damp on the boat in the winter so we try to lessen that as much as possible. 🙂
Your hubby is definitely a keeper. That is a beautiful painting and so sweet of your hubby to buy it for you. XO
He’s a keeper for sure. We were meant to be together. Happy Thankful Thursday. 🙂
that is much to be thankful for, especially your lovely painting. enjoy!
My husband is the very best. 🙂
How sweet of your hubby to buy that beautiful painting. Happy Thursday!
He could tell I fell in love with it and he was right. 🙂
That is an absolutely lovely painting. I know you will find a purrfect spot to hang it when the remodeling is over. During the colder months your minds eye will take you back
Hugs Cecilia
I have found a perfect spot for this painting. You’re right about my minds eye taking me back. Hugs. 🙂
That is definitely an interesting painting…lots to look at more closely. Even with my little pontoon, I used to hate when the season was over until the following year.
We can boat year around if we want too. It can get cold, but there are ways around that. 🙂
Wow, what a beautiful piece of art! No wonder you love that area.
The California Delta is a beautiful place. 🙂
always thankful
Me too, Paul. 🙂
What a beautiful and thoughtful gift from your husband! 🙂
Happy Thankful Thursday, Sandee.
He’s a keeper for sure. Happy Thursday, my friend. 🙂
A beautiful painting for a beautiful lady.
I love you my only. Your loving husband.
Thank you for letting me have that beautiful painting. I love it so. I love you, my only. 🙂
Wasn’t it just yesterday you were thankful for getting the boat ready for summer?! Yikes! Winter is coming too fast. I have to say I love that painting and would have also bought it on the spot. Hope you are enjoying the Autumn weather. 💜
Yes I did and now it’s autumn. Time marches on. 🙂
How sweet! Tell Mr. Zane i think he’s “the utmost” as Judy Jetson used to say. Hugs!
He’s all that and more, my friend. Hugs. 🙂
Sandee,I sent you an email thanking you for the mug.
I got it, Mike. I’m glad I made your heart happy today. 🙂
Sandee, Awesome painting I’m Glad Zane bought it for you!
He’s very good to me, Mike, but you already know that. 🙂
Winterizing the boat is a sure sign of seasons changing. When the Dad lived in WV he had to take his boat out to storage every winter because lots of the water froze and they decreased the water level in the lakes so the docks came out too. Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
We don’t have to do that here, but our sister and brother in law did that every year they had their boat in Indiana. 🙂
That’s sweet that your husband bought you the painting. 🙂 It is very pretty.
He’s such a wonderful husband. 🙂
That is a gorgeous painting.
It’s even prettier in person. 🙂
What a beautiful painting, Sandee.🤗
It sure is. I love this painting. 🙂
What a lovely painting. It will look so nice in your remodeled home 🙂
It sure will, Jen. 🙂
