It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.
I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.
Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.
Today I’m thankful that hubby and I got all our furniture upstairs picked up and stored by a moving company while our upstairs remodel is underway. We’re to old to move heavy furniture anymore. It’s wonderful to have this service.
We’re thankful that our bed is the only thing that remains upstairs. We just didn’t want it downstairs during the remodel. We’ll be happy to move the bed when they want it moved.
I’m thankful that our home will be full of dust soon, because the end result will be worth it. We are prepared to dust at the end of each of their work days.
What are you thankful for today?

Moving heavy furniture at our stage of life is for sure not recommended! 🙂 Good that you found such a helpful service. I hope all goes well with your renovations, Sandee.
I am thankful that summer is descending upon us. Cheers! ☀
We refuse to move heavy anything. To old. 🙂
Dusting is my least favorite household chore but in your case of all the new, I’ll take it! We are thankful for cooler temps while they last.
I’m not a fan either, but it has to be done. 🙂
The process of renovating isn’t fun, but the end results are wonderful. It’s great you have someone to do it for you too as doing it yourself can take forever!
We’re going to go with the flow. It’s worth it to us. 🙂
The enjoyment is soon to come. I don’t like to dust, and usually let it settle for a bit. It’s a never ending job.🤗.💕
Yes it’s a never ending job. It’s worth it though. 🙂
I have never been through a renovation but have heard many stories about the horrors of it from friends. even painting a room that is full of furniture is now pretty much beyond us. we can’t move our bed, its the biggest king they make and might as well be built in permanently. it will be worth it when its done
We did some last year, but very small compared to what they are going to do this year. 🙂
Workmen have been keeping busy during these past couple of years. I’m so lazy, I’d probably let the “dust” accumulate for a while, LOL! Happy renovating!!
We’ll we’ll try to keep it down as much as we can, but there’s only so much we can do. 🙂
Years ago I would bet bored with the way the rooms looked, so I used to love moving furniture around at least once a year! Now I no longer do it, as my back would kill me, lol.
Good luck with the renovations Sandee, I’m sure it will all be worth all the dust and furniture moving.
I did the same thing, Sami. Can’t anymore. 🙂
Heck, I killed my back picking up a carton of water bottles…😺
I hear you. We’re to old for heavy stuff anymore. 🙂
Extensive remodeling is a E X P E R I E N C E!! I know you will be thrilled beyond words when the dust settles.
Hugs Cecilia
They are going to gut three full baths and redo, along with all the flooring upstairs and carpet on the stairs. Hugs. 🙂
Good luck with the remodeling. I’m sure it’s all going to be worthwhile when you see the finished product.
It will be. Some really nice stuff we ordered. 🙂
Unique thankfuls ~ good luck with the remodel ~ Xo ~ we are grateful for you!
Lots of hugs and love to you from me and Angel ~ Xos

It will be messing and dusty, but worth it. Love and hugs to you and Angel. 🙂
That’s wonderful to find a service to move your heavy furniture. I know you will be thrilled when the renovations are complete. Happy Thursday! ❤️
Our next door neighbor used them when they were doing their remodel last year so hubby took down the company name and phone number. We were thrilled with their service. 🙂
A remodel, exciting! Keep us updated.
Hubby has taken the before pictures and he’ll take the after pictures. I’ll share them with everyone. 🙂
I love Brian’s Home…those feline furs are the best!!
Yes indeed, Pam. We love Brian’s Home too. 🙂
Sounds like a dust up that you will like! Cheers and hugs! xoxo
We love this crew, so we’ll be just fine. Hugs. 🙂
Oh, wow! Best wishes on the remodel. ~hugs~ And sorry for my absence. I’ve just been distracted doing other things and neglected my laptop while days and days flew by. ~shakes head~ Be well!
It’s all good. There are many that vanish for a bit. Not a problem. 🙂
Sounds exciting to have a remodel. It will be nice when it’s all done, I’m sure.
Wishing you a happy Thursday! <3
It sure will. We’ll enjoy it. 🙂
My cage could stand a remodel. Those bars make it soooo confining.
You’re not running/flying free? I love you. 🙂
A moving service would be so priceless for those that need it. I couldn’t imagine moving and having to physically move furniture, it would be impossible.
I’m glad it’s all kicking off with the remodelling now. How long do you expect it to take? Maybe send the guys to our house when they’ve finished?
xxxx
The crew came in and within an hour everything was gone. Amazing. Well worth the cost. 🙂
much to be thankful for.
Yes indeed. I’m thankful every single day. 🙂
That’s a super cool remodeling thankful fur sure! Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
We’ll be so happy when it’s done. It will make a huge difference. Thanks for hosting. 🙂
It does seem that furniture, like people, tends to gain weight over the years!
So very true, Patricia. 🙂
Like so many things in life, the work may not be so pleasant to go theough, but it’s worth it in the end. Hugs!
We know this to be true. Hugs. 🙂
I hate all the dust and upheaval, but it will be lovely when it is done. I am too old for moving things around too. Ivor tries but I wish he wouldn’t.
We hate the dust too, but it will be worth it. 🙂
What a great thankful list and a wonderful way to look on the bright side of remodeling!!
It’s worth the mess. We’re looking forward to the transformation. 🙂
How exciting a remodel! I hope you share some pictures with us.
We’ve taken the before shots and will show the after shots after they are done. So excited. 🙂
Some things are worth paying for rather than doing it yourself!
Amen to that. 🙂
You are going to need your positive attitude as the project goes along. I am sure you will handle it easily.
I’ll keep the positive attitude. It’s worth the mess, 🙂
How exciting and a wonderful thing to be thankful for. XO
Can’t wait for them to start. A great crew. 🙂
Hurrah for a remodel. I hope it turns out exactly how you hoped or even better!
I’m sure it will be fabulous, my friend. 🙂

There are companies that do this, Anne. Check around and you’ll find this service. Wonderful. 🙂
Good luck through the renovation. They can be a challenge but with your positive attitude, I know you’ll come through it fine!
We’ll do fine. We know it’s noisy and messy, but it’s worth it. 🙂
The end result is better than the journey but is wonderful and well worth the effort. Good luck.
We love how you are keeping your eyes on the prize, Sandee! The dust and displacement are, like you said, temporary. Itwill be so nice when it’s all done. 🙂
I know it will be so nice when it’s done. It’s work the dust and disruption. 🙂
