It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.
I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.
Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.
I’m thankful that we’re in the process of remodeling our upstairs. All the carpet will be gone and they are going to gut both bathrooms and completely remodel them. I can’t wait to see the difference. When they get done with that they will redo the bathroom downstairs. Funny how it looked fine before they did the downstairs work and after the facelift it looks tired and outdated. We’re even looking forward to all the dust we’ll have for weeks and weeks. It will be worth it when they are done.
I’m thankful for all my blogging friends. You bring me such joy. Thank you.

Oh how fun. I’ve thought many times that I would like to gut my whole house and start over. It is a mess while the work is going on but so worth it when it’s all done. As my brother used to say “A temporary inconvenience to a permanent solution.”
We’ve already gone through the dust with the downstairs remodel so we know what to expect. 🙂
Remodeling is such fun – yes, messy, but so worth it in the end. We are thankful to have you as our friend too, Miss Sandee♥
It sure is. We’re so jazzed about getting the rest done. 🙂
Yes, you are very fortunate to have a remodel going on. I hope it ends up being everything you want and more.
I’m sure it will. We love these guys and they are the same ones that did our downstairs. 🙂
Yes, you are so fortunate to get the remodels. I hope they turn out to be everything you want and more. Have a wonderful day!
I’m sure they will, my friend. 🙂
We would love to do some remodeling too. Be sure to show us pictures!
I’ll do the before and after shots. 🙂
sounds good and good you have one downstairs so they could both be done at the same time. just painting the front of the house walls this week has made the inside look dirty and dark… the problem inside is fix up one thing and the others show the need for fix up. downstairs can be next
That’s how it works. Once you get started you see all the other things that needs done. I know how that works. 🙂
Can’t wait to see the photos after the remodeling is completed.
I’ll make sure we take lots of shots to share. 🙂
We are comfy in our house as it is, but Mom thinks it could use some spiffing up, we just would have to find the finances to do it. Getting rid of the carpet on the main floor would be priority one. Enjoy your remodel!
We’ve saved and saved to do this. We are so happy that the carpet downstairs is gone. A dust magnet. 🙂
Wonderful thankful. I would love to remodel our bathroom. You are so lucky to have 3, we have 1 and a half. Have a great day. 🙂 XO
We have a house that’s to big, but it was perfect when we were entertaining all the time. We like have three full baths. You have a great day too. 🙂
I’ll bet things will really look nice and you’ll be very happy. Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
I know we will. I love this company and their crew. 🙂
YAY remodeling for sure causes a ripple effect throughout the house but well worth ever speck of dust. In 2016 we had new carpet installed in the bedrooms and LVP flooring installed in Bryan’s train room upstairs and here in the office. Den/dining/kitchen has hardwood.
Hugs Cecilia
It’s worth every speck. We’re looking forward to it. Hugs. 🙂
Oh, bathroom remodels! Wonderful!
Ours are 21 years old and they look it. 🙂
Remodeling may cause inconvenience while in progress but so worth it in the end. Happy Thursday!
We’ll be dusting for a very long time, but I’m happy to get the remodel done. 🙂
You’re so brave to do such a remodeling project. Good luck-can’t wait to see the finished look.
We’re looking forward to a great facelift. 🙂
It always feels good when you’ve completed a facelift and everything looks nice and fresh.
Love it! Remodeling does stir up a “bit” of dust- but well worth it! Hugs and best wishes- looking forward to seeing all the changes!
Oooops here are my fill-ins:
Here are my fill-ins:
1. I hope the Easter Bunny brings me some chocolate!
2. My favorite part of the Easter ( or Passover) meal is hot cross buns!
3. I’m most looking forward to sunny days this weekend.
4. For me, this time of year is full of flowers beginning to bloom and their fragrance is soft and wonderful!
I love your fill-ins. We both want chocolate. More love and hugs. 🙂
It sure is worth it. Hugs and love all around. 🙂
Good luck with the remodeling. I know those things can be annoying but when it’s all done it’s so worth it.
They are, but it’s worth it. We’re packing things up right now and we’re having a moving company come to take the big stuff out to store. 🙂
Remodeling! It sounds wonderful, Sandee. The messes are all worth when we get to enjoy the renovations! Grateful for those who help keep our homes in tip-top shape. I’m grateful for hubby who loves getting into all the work beneath the wonders here. Have a wonderful weekend! xo
I’m okay with the mess. These guys are pretty good at cleaning up behind themselves. Happy day, Bette. 🙂
Your remodel sounds so great! You must share photos when it is done. I am thankful for the sun today as it is a bit warmer. Seeing my tulips come up and waiting for them to bloom. Grateful my sweetheart can still work and I pray for him everyday as these younger attorneys are woke. It is hard to be there but he does his work with pride and leaves it all behind when he comes home. Happy Easter to you and yours. Have a great weekend and enjoy some sunshine too!
I’ll do that, Anne. We’re so looking forward to a fresh look. Love and hugs and thanks for being such a great friend. 🙂
I remember when my dad remodeled our house. One room at a time and his friend did a good job. Sadness comes over me when I think aobut the people living there now and the beautiful yard and fencing they destroyed to give it a dumpy look. But I am happy for you and know how thankful you are to have your house spruced up so beautifully. That is a great Thankful Thursday share. 🙂 Happy Easter & enjoy a great weekend.
Happy Easter my friend. Love and hugs. Sorry about the home your father remodeled and the new owners don’t care. 🙂
Happy weekends coming soon.
Loves ya,
The Girls
Yes indeed. We’re going to visit our granddaughter and great grands on Saturday. 🙂
Kissy Whiskers!!
I love remodeling! It’s always worth it. hope we can do more on our home one of these days.
I agree and this will be the third time we’ve dealt with this company. They are awesome. 🙂
You sound so positive about this remodeling ~ despite knowing what it is like to go through ~ Am sure it will be beautiful! Happy for you ~ Xo
Love and hugs to you from me and Angel ~ Xos

It’s not the first time they have worked in our home so we know what to expect. Love and hugs to you and Angel. 🙂
I bet it’s going to look great!!
We are also thankful for you!
We think it will. We’re looking forward to the last part of the facelift. I’m thankful for you and your sweet pups too. 🙂
Redoing things always shows a great change. Just like a little paint can give a piece or a wall the much needed love it was asking for. Hope you share before and after pics
Painting is another thing we need to do. We’ll get to that later. 🙂
It is funny how you start to change one thing and it just snowballs. Have fun, it’s an adventure!
That’s what happened here. I look back and wish I had done several things differently. It’s an adventure indeed. 🙂
I am sure it will look great
We’re hoping it will. 🙂
please be sure to post before and after photos!
Will do, Caren. We’re still waiting for the quote. Soon. 🙂
