Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.

I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

I’m thankful that we’re in the process of remodeling our upstairs. All the carpet will be gone and they are going to gut both bathrooms and completely remodel them. I can’t wait to see the difference. When they get done with that they will redo the bathroom downstairs. Funny how it looked fine before they did the downstairs work and after the facelift it looks tired and outdated. We’re even looking forward to all the dust we’ll have for weeks and weeks. It will be worth it when they are done.

I’m thankful for all my blogging friends. You bring me such joy. Thank you.

Oh how fun. I’ve thought many times that I would like to gut my whole house and start over. It is a mess while the work is going on but so worth it when it’s all done. As my brother used to say “A temporary inconvenience to a permanent solution.”

sounds good and good you have one downstairs so they could both be done at the same time. just painting the front of the house walls this week has made the inside look dirty and dark… the problem inside is fix up one thing and the others show the need for fix up. downstairs can be next

We are comfy in our house as it is, but Mom thinks it could use some spiffing up, we just would have to find the finances to do it. Getting rid of the carpet on the main floor would be priority one. Enjoy your remodel!

Wonderful thankful. I would love to remodel our bathroom. You are so lucky to have 3, we have 1 and a half. Have a great day. 🙂 XO

We have a house that’s to big, but it was perfect when we were entertaining all the time. We like have three full baths. You have a great day too. 🙂

YAY remodeling for sure causes a ripple effect throughout the house but well worth ever speck of dust. In 2016 we had new carpet installed in the bedrooms and LVP flooring installed in Bryan’s train room upstairs and here in the office. Den/dining/kitchen has hardwood.

They are, but it’s worth it. We’re packing things up right now and we’re having a moving company come to take the big stuff out to store. 🙂

Remodeling! It sounds wonderful, Sandee. The messes are all worth when we get to enjoy the renovations! Grateful for those who help keep our homes in tip-top shape. I’m grateful for hubby who loves getting into all the work beneath the wonders here. Have a wonderful weekend! xo

Your remodel sounds so great! You must share photos when it is done. I am thankful for the sun today as it is a bit warmer. Seeing my tulips come up and waiting for them to bloom. Grateful my sweetheart can still work and I pray for him everyday as these younger attorneys are woke. It is hard to be there but he does his work with pride and leaves it all behind when he comes home. Happy Easter to you and yours. Have a great weekend and enjoy some sunshine too!

I remember when my dad remodeled our house. One room at a time and his friend did a good job. Sadness comes over me when I think aobut the people living there now and the beautiful yard and fencing they destroyed to give it a dumpy look. But I am happy for you and know how thankful you are to have your house spruced up so beautifully. That is a great Thankful Thursday share. 🙂 Happy Easter & enjoy a great weekend.

Redoing things always shows a great change. Just like a little paint can give a piece or a wall the much needed love it was asking for. Hope you share before and after pics
