Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.

I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

Today I’m thankful for our first cruise of 2022 to Delta Marina Yacht Harbor in Rio Vista to visit with our boating friends. We’ve not seen them since last March and we’re looking forward to a nice weekend out on the water.

I’m also thankful that we’ll get to visit one of our favorite restaurants on the water. The Point has been a wonderful place to meet friends and have a great meal. Dining with a view of the Sacramento river is a delight too.

What are you thankful for today?

I’m so happy for this weekend-getaway that you will be taking dearest Sandee. I remember you writing about your last year’s jaunt in March, before you left.

It’s going to be so wonderful to catch up with your friends after a long hiatus. And the harbour looks divine and tempting.
Have a fun time dining at the Point and we would love to see some pictures with a view of the Sacramento, if you can, that is. 🙂

We are also hoping to catch up with our friends who we haven’t meant in the last 2 years, over Easter weekend, in beachy Goa. Amen to that. Fingers and toes; all crossed. ha! Ha!

Wishing you sunny days of joy, peace, oodles of love and laughter, sweetheart.

    Hugs xoxox

    Sandee,

I’m thankful for the mild spring-like temps we’ve had this week. It’s expected to cool off again tomorrow, though. I’m also thankful our good friend, Marie, is doing much, much better! 🙂 Have a terrific Thursday, my dear!

Sounds like you’re ready for a good time!
Am thankful today to be working remotely, as a huge storm is moving into the area.
Rain, snow, sleet, it’s the end of the world as we know it, dogs and cats living together…
You know, that’s how the weatherguessers are portraying it…

Sandee what a breathtaking view. As much as I like to eat…I might actually be to awe struck with the beauty there. Our daughter and son in law live on our coast both work for NC State U. She works for an CMAST an NCSU research center. Their building sits right on the sound. Once she sent me an email: guess what I’m seeing from the bldg lobby:! Dolphins playing. I wrote back guess what I see from my bldg lobby seas of students walking to classes across the brick yard.

PS thank you for your kind comments about my poetry… 🙂

Hugs and yes I have seen the whippersnappers trying to figure out how to use a phone.

It’s a beautiful place to go and being right on the river is even better. We so enjoy being there and have visited there more times than we can count. Big hugs. 🙂
