It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for. I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.
Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.
I’m thankful that a friend had a successful operation and is on the mend. It’s a blessing for them and for all their friends.
I’m thankful that I got to visit with my granddaughter and great granddaughter the other day. We had a pizza night and it was good to catch up.
I’m thankful that we are finally getting spring weather. I can’t remember winter hanging on for so long.
What are you thankful for today?
Sitting here waiting until it’s time to go to work, I’m finding it hard to think of something to be thankful for. I guess I could be thankful that I have a job or maybe even that it will be over in 8 hours…lol Ah wait, I’m thankful for this cup of coffee that is helping me wake up.
You’re thankful for more than you know. You’re a wonderful person, Ann. 🙂
When we are thankful, everything seems so bright and beautiful! Happy Spring!
Me too, Nancy, me too. 🙂
We are thankful for our home and our food. And we are thankful for all of our blogging friends. Love the daisy picture. Sandee, you and Zane have a grand day.
I’m thankful for you, Marg. You’ve been a blogging buddy for a very long time. 🙂
I’m so glad to hear that the operation went well and we hope there is some quick healing. Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Talked with them the other day and he’s home and doing well. We are ever so thankful. 🙂
This Thankful Thursday I’m thankful that I didn’t hurt anything but my pride when I fell over earlier this week.
You are lucky. Barb, one of my blogging buddies, broke her arm in a fall. You’re very lucky. 🙂
The poor thing. When I read her post she was thinking it was a dislocated shoulder. Sending healing vibes her way.
PTL on a successful operation.
Pizza & grandchildren, always fun 🙂
Praise the Lord indeed. Yes pizza and grandchildren are always fun. 🙂
Thankful for a happy, healthy grandcrew that live right here in town, so we could watch them grow up and be active in their lives.
And I enjoy them too. Thank you for sharing a special part of your life. 🙂
Pizza with family is ALWAYS good! Happy Thursday 🙂
You know what a huge foodie I am too. Happy Thursday to you too. 🙂
Sounds like a wonderful week! I’m with you on the lingering winter. We seemed to have gone from winter to summer. 😁
It’s cold here again and rain tomorrow. I’m thinking winter is still hanging on and we had a bunch of spring like days. Bugger. 🙂
Love this post and the photo. I know that Spring is your favorite season. It’s mine too. My only exception is that it doesn’t last long enough!.I’m thankful to have my computer back! It’s really scary to depend on a computer for your livelihood. Now, I’m seriously behind. But, I will join tomorrow’s Blog Hop.
Have a great day Sandee, and Simon and I are sending Huge Hugs!
You’re right it doesn’t last long enough. Oh well. Big hugs to you and Simon. 🙂
Nice post Sandee and pic to go with it 🙂
Have a thankfultastic day ➡ 😎
Thanks, Steve. You have a thankfultastic day too. 🙂
Wonderful things in which to be thankful. I’ve had my eye on this blog hop for a while. Happy I’m able to participate today! I love Steve’s comment on having a thankfultastic day. I think I’ll borrow that line. xoxox
For Steve everything thing he does has a tastic at the end. It’s his trademark. 🙂
I am also very thankful for nice weather. Winter was so long this year here in Germany.
Looks like the weather was the same almost everywhere. 🙂
Hi Sandee, I hope your friend continues to get better with every passing day. And how lovely you got to catch up with not only a Granddaughter, but a Great Granddaughter too, that’s special. Enjoy summer, and get plenty of boating in!… I’m thankful that not all my working days are long during the summer, not like some peoples!
xx
Our friend is doing very well. Bored, but well. We had a great time with the grands the other night. Nice to spend time with them as they are young and busy. Having less hours to work in the summer rocks. Gives you time to do fun things. 🙂
I am thankful when I woke up I thought it was Friday and now I see it is really only Thursday!
Well if you’re working then it’s not good, but if you’re retired I’m thinking it’s fine. 🙂
all great things to be thankful. I hope your friend recovers quickly
Me too. He’s a good friend to many. 🙂
That’s so nice, I miss having pizza with my nephews. Good news about your friend, sometimes things work out don’t they. We went from snow to 80˚ to a kind of spring to OMG it’s just too hot for anything but swimming and polsicles. It’s going to be like living in the Amazon the next few day and I’m going to get my hair cut so short even an army barber would be like, “Uh uh, too short.”
I just did that with my hair. I’ve been letting the gray come out and it’s out. Short, but out. I’m liking it too. 🙂
Those are all wonderful reasons to be thankful.
Thank you, Ellen. If we just take the time we can all find many things to be thankful for. 🙂
No grandkids here, but i am very thankful for my grandcats and granddogs!
You’ll have those grandkids as some point and you’ll love them even more than your babies. It’s the way of things. 🙂
I am grateful for all ~ your post is so loving ~ xxx
Happy Times to you,
C & Z
Thanks, Carol. Happy times to you too. Scritches to Zoe. 🙂
So happy your friend is on the mend and pizza nights are ALWAYS good, especially when they involve family!
Yes on both counts, Caren. 🙂
How wonderful to have a granddaughter AND great granddaughter. I haven’t even got grandchildren yet. That’ll teach me to procrastinate! ‘
I’m glad your friend came through surgery well and hope for a speedy recovery now.
They are most wonderful too. The lights of our lives. I’m glad our friend came though the surgery well too. 🙂
We are loving the spring weather and the grandkids aren’t half bad they drop lots of food when they visit.
They do that and you can eat all they drop. I know how that works. 🙂
