Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.

I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

This week I’m thankful that everyone has been so nice to me in spite of my foggy brain this past week. Hubby bought me a new laptop and I’ve spent days getting programs and files loaded on my new computer. It’s left me exhausted. Here’s some of the things that I did or didn’t do during this transition.

I forgot to put the linky code on my Wordless Wednesday post yesterday and everyone was so kind. Many came back and linked up once I posted the links.

I have copy and paste for my hops and they always say the same thing depending on the day. On Wednesday I decided to copy and paste my Awww Mondays thank you. I did a whole bunch of posts before I figured that out. Everyone has been kind about that. I figure folks just think I’m an old lady (that’s true) and gave me a pass.

Everything I’ve done this week has been difficult. I’ve been totally confused most of the week and I’m thankful that I have such good blogging buddies that just let me have my difficult week. I’m happy to say my computer is up and running so I can focus on my hops. You guys rock.

What are you thankful for today?

I had to do IT tech stuff at work all day a week ago Wednesday, and I threatened suicide or at the very least alcoholism if I ever had to do that for a living. My husband’s career is IT, so he just laughed and said he understood. This all to say, I totally understand! Glad you’re done with it and can move on!!

    My GBGV Life says:

Switching to a new computer is a major project. With so many advances in technology, it should be so much easier to transfer everything over to the new computer but it is not. Mom needs a new one for work soon but is dreading the switching the data part. We didn’t notice many glitches but since everyone makes mistakes here and there we just thought it was odd and moved on. Hope you have things up and running better soon so you can take it easy.

      Sandee says:

It’s not easy at all. I should have let my IT guy move everything. He’s really good at that. 🙂

funny you mention the confused foggy mind thing. mine has been really bad for about 4 weeks now. more so than the normal aging thing. I started a post, made graphics to tell about the confusion. it has been in drafts 3 weeks now because I got too confused to think why i started it. it did get better this week. hope yours does also.

I do that all the time and I double check my posts several times to make sure things are okay and I still mess them up. Scritches to Beau. 🙂
