Hubby and I are most thankful for our marina. We enjoy boating and we love where we keep our boat. It’s a beautiful place to relax, enjoy the ducks, fish, seals and our boat neighbors. We are fortunate that we’re still healthy enough to go on cruises.
The top picture is the guest dock that consists of 1400 feet of docking. There are often some very large yachts that come to Willow Berm for the summer. The largest vessel that used to visit was a yacht named Flipper. It was 110′ yacht with a full crew.

That marina looks beautiful. No wonder you love it there.
Today the rain is falling and I’m thankful to be inside warm and dry
They have wonderful restrooms with great showers. Just a wonderful place. 🙂
Your marina is beautiful and it looks like an excellent place to relax.
It is and it’s a gated marina. So only folks that are supposed to be there can get in. It’s a safe place and not all marinas are safe. 🙂
I am thankful I had a small pontoon for many years that I could pull, launch and drive myself. It was my place of refuge. I think I need to find another place like that….
Oh how fun. There are lots of folks that have pontoons and run around all over the delta. Pontoons are fun. 🙂
Oh my, that looks like such a peaceful, nice place to have a boat. We hope you have many more years of cruising ahead of you.
We hope we have many more years too. We’re in our 70s and slowing down some. Happy Thursday. 🙂
that top photo is magical. the sky is amazing… that is a super nice marina…
It is just that beautiful at times. It’s breathtakingly beautiful. 🙂
How wonderful that you’ve found this marina!
There are marinas all over ’round here, since we are close to Lake St. Clair, and know that it’s important to find a place that suits.
We’ve been here in the same slip since February 2004. We bought our boat in 2004 from a different marina and move the boat here. We love it. 🙂
Beautiful marina. I wonder who had the large yacht and how they could afford it. Have a great day. XO
I know who had that yacht. Dan Duc owned the yacht. He’s not owner of the marina, but the yacht is gone. I’ve searched for it, but I’m sure whoever has it has change its name and hailing port. 🙂
Thhankful for the lovely Fall weather. Not too cool and plenty of sun!
Our lovely fall weather is gone. It’s gloomy and cold here. Enjoy it while you can, Paul. 🙂
What a lovely place to relax with friends, Sandee! I am grateful for the brisk fall weather! Happy Thursday!
It is a wonderful way to get out for a bit. With Covid we could boat and not be around anyone either. That was a plus. Good books and just relax. 🙂
Those are beautiful photos! We wouldn’t mind living on a Flipper full time. Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Oh that yacht was most beautiful A huge home on the water. Full crew, so no work to have to attend to either. Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. 🙂
Where is the wine bar?
It’s there, Kismet. There is always a bar and a wine bar. Always. I love you. 🙂
I love you at our Marina. I remember when I asked the Captain of Flipper for a boat ride, he would always say, “Tomorrow at 10.”
Your loving Husband.
I remember that too. It was always tomorrow at 10. We laughed about that often. I love you my only. 🙂
The marina looks like a lovely, serene escape and it must be fun, cruising around. 🙂 I am thankful that our fall season has been relatively mild, so far. Have a good weekend!
It is indeed. We so love going on a cruise on our boat. It’s our condo on the water. 🙂
What a beautiful photo and thankful!! Yacht named Flipper I love it.
Happy Thankful Thursday
Hugs cecilia
I don’t know where the yacht is now, but we had it showing up often during the summer months. 🙂
Very nice! ~hugs~ I’m thankful for this sunny day.
We’ve not seen the sun here in about two weeks. Gloomy and cold. Oh well. Big hugs. 🙂
Gorgeous! It really does look relaxing.
It is indeed. We enjoy it during the fair weather months. Now is the time for maintenance. 🙂
Hi Sandee, Just wanted to let you know that I emailed you about the giveaway on my blog 🙂
Roger that. 🙂
I just love that marina, thanks for sharing the photos.
It is the very best of all the marinas. We love it. 🙂
just lovely
I agree. We love our beautiful marina. 🙂
wowee what a gorgeous marina! Have fun! xoxo
It is indeed, Kathe. Love and hugs all around. 🙂
what a beautiful place to be able to dock your boat…can feel the warmth now!
It’s cold there now, but it’s most wonderful during the fair weather months. 🙂
Wow Sandee, that marina is simply gorgeous. I can see why you love it there. Your description made me sigh with relaxation. Being in beautiful nature can’t be beat. I hope you and your hubby have many more relaxing trips out to come.
I am thankful that a trip to the Vet yesterday for one of our kittens went well. These are former ferals we’ve taken on, to socialize, and hopefully find homes. They are free of disease of any kind. So thankful! Now I pray we can find them their perfectly loving, forever families. ❤️
We do love it there. Mother Nature is all around us there. Yay on the kitty. I’m sure you’ll find them a loving forever home. 🙂
Beautiful place! It’s wonderful y’all can enjoy boating together!
Happy Thursday! <3
We’re going to enjoy it as long as we can. We’re most blessed. Happy Thursday. 🙂
The marina looks beautiful.
I’ve never seen a prettier marina and I’ve seen lots of marinas. 🙂
Wow, what a beautiful marina! A 110 footer, eh? Wow! Bet that was some yacht. 🛥
Yes a 110 footer. It was huge and had come come in and go out in high tide because is was so big. It was a most beautiful yacht. It was so big you could see it on Highway 12. 🙂
Wow!
Thankful that hubby and I had many years of traveling together before retirement. Thanks for sharing your marina, Sandee! During the 1990s, hubby and I were living in CA and made weekend trips to coast where we thought about buying a sailboat. Although we didn’t buy a boat, we had long weekends and vacations to travel together up and down both coasts and across country six times by different routes. Blessed and grateful! 💞 xo
Boating for us is perfect. We so enjoy being out on the water. We’re planning a Delta cruise that includes over a week of traveling to different marinas to enjoy what they have to offer. Happy day and rest of the week, Bette. 🙂
Oh you are blessed ~ what an idyllic setting at the marina ~ I love boating ~ great photos ~ ^_^

We are blessed indeed. We only have a small boat, but we love it. Love and hugs to you both. 🙂
That’s a beautiful place, i don’t blame you for loving to go there.
It is a beautiful place indeed. We spend lots of time there during the warm weather months. 🙂
We love the sites and sounds at the marina
So do we. It’s wonderful place to relax. 🙂
Gorgeous looking boats. I used to live in Sooke BC right on the water. Our landlord was a fisherman and had a 150′ Seiner and had a 100′ yacht in a boat house that looked remarkably like the ones at your marina! At that time we had a 28′ cabin cruiser. We loved to get out whenever we could. Unfortunately we had to move for work, I really miss the ocean! Thanks for bringing back some wonderfully happy memories. I shall sleep well tonight.
We don’t live on the water and it takes us about 1 hour and 15 minutes to get to our marina. We have a 34 foot Sea Ray Sundancer. We love her. It’s our home away from home. Love all around and a smooch to Marv. 🙂
Today I am thankful for how easy it is to cook a turkey these days! I am spoiled by the bags that my grandma did not have!
It sure is. Turkey is good, but since we don’t host the family meals anymore we eat something else. This year it’s garlic chicken, mashed potatoes and broccoli. No bread or dessert. 🙂
What a beautiful marina!
It is indeed. We love it there. 🙂
After watching your pictures, I’m gonna be a Sailor furrever😸We also want to Thank you for your Birthday song and wishes for Me and My Granny, they warmed our heart and brightened up our day💗 Extra Pawkisses for all of you🐾😽💞
I’m happy about that. Love to you both. 🙂
