It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.
I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.
Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.
I’m thankful that I have this stack of books to read:

- Striking Range by Margaret Mizushima
- The Therapist by B.A. Paris
- Black Ice by Brad Thor

I can travel the world and never leave my chair. Pure heaven.

That’s a big list of books. I haven’t read anything in quite a while. I love getting lost in a good book though
I’ll be through that stack and move on to the next stack. Hubby and I read every day. 🙂
I can’t imagine my life without books. Happy Thursday!
Me either, Miss Molly. We have two large bookcases and they are crammed full of books and then there are the stacks. 🙂
We lived within walking distance of the library. I was THAT kid who carried home the biggest stack of library books to be handled and then immediately sat down and started reading them. I loved to read so much when I was younger. I still do, but I rarely carve the time out to do so. Enjoy your reading bliss! I’m thankful I’ve hit the jackpot two years in a row with good students. It makes teaching so much more enjoyable.
My parents didn’t instill reading into me, but somewhere I picked it up and it never went away. I’m happy about that. 🙂
Have you read Barbara Kingsolver, she is amazing.
I haven’t and I’ll check her out. 🙂
I seldom read books these days. I am thankful I have my garden, my computer and my hand phone to keep me occupied.
We each have the things we love to do. It’s all good. 🙂
That stack of books is indeed something to be thankful for! Happy reading! Still looking forward to reading the new Karen Slaughter myself.
I love reading. It’s a passion. 🙂
My mom has never enjoyed reading books. Even as a little girl, she was always in the top reading group but only read the books she had to read. She loves short stories and articles on things of interest. Once and a while she will read a book on a topic she wants to learn about but then she reads the whole book in a day and that is it. We know most people love to read and that is a nice thing.
We all have our likes and that’s a good thing. 🙂
Wow, that is a lot of books to read! Happy reading and happy Thursday!
I’ll get through them in no time. Happy Thursday. 🙂
That’s a lot of good reads coming up, enjoy! Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
We love to read and it’s a comfort to have a stack of books to enjoy. 🙂
thankful for much and lots of books!
Yes indeed, Paul. 🙂
It is a nice feeling to have a stack of books to read. Great thankfuls. Have a nice day. XO
Yes it is. I get antsy when my stack gets low. You have a nice day too. 🙂
Reading is one of the most beautiful things we can do, it enriches our soul and feed our mind, enjoy, my friend!
Happy Thankful Thursday to you!
Xx Daniela
Yes it does all those things, Daniela. Happy Thursday. 🙂
I am very thankful that you included the Goodreads links; I’ve added a few of your books to my TBR list, and a few were already there!
And I lurv audiobooks!
How wonderful. I love recommendations on good reads too. Happy Thursday. 🙂
Ooohhhhh…that looks like a great stack of books. I love to just delve into a book and get lost for hours. Enjoy your books.
I do the same every single day. 🙂
Wow, you’ve got a great book pile there! Enjoy your ‘travels.’
Thank you and I will. Happy Thursday to you, scritches to the pups and a smooch to Norman. 🙂
Books are the greatest things ever. Wonderful!
Yes they are. I agree with you. 🙂
Books are magical…
Hugs Cecilia
They are indeed, Cecilia. Big hug. 🙂
oh boy! I will see if these books are available in our llibrary! Thanks and have a great day!
we are swamped right now with projects – so I may not be posting as much as in the past. Cheers!
They are pretty new books so it may take a bit. Cheers. 🙂
I’m a teeny tiny bit jealous – that brand new Karin Slaughter book is one I’m very much looking forward to! I’m waiting on a copy from the library but it seems like it’ll be a long wait. She’s an incredible writer.
Great selection of books here to soothe your soul. Reading is a wonderful thing. Enjoy! xx
I get most of my books from Literary Guild and Amazon. I love to read. 🙂
Books–great teachers, travel guides and companions! Just finished reading Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens, highly recommend this beautifully written bittersweet novel to readers everywhere. 🙂 Thanks so much for putting Dog Bone Soup on your stack, Sandee! Happy Thursday and Happy Reading, my friend. xo
I’ll have to check out that book. You’re most welcome. Happy Thursday and Happy Reading to you too, Bette. 🙂
I am thankful for people who write books. I read all the time, one of the joys of retirement. Last year I read 100 books and will probably do the same this year. I am familiar with some of the authors you have on your list but haven’t read the books you mention, at least I don’t think so. Once I read a book it seems to leave my brain quickly. I keep a blog page with what I have read listed that helps to jog my memory.
Reading is a wonderful thing to do. 🙂
I so agree with you that I’m thankful for books! So many different kinds of subjects to enjoy!
Happy Thursday and a good start to the weekend days! <3
Reading is most fun. Happy Thursday and weekend. 🙂
Our Human agrees, books are a way to be transported to places and worlds we could never imagine.
Purrs & Head Bonks,
Alberto
That’s exactly how I feel. Purrs and head bonks back, Alberto. 🙂
I love to read also. I am currently reading Her Heart for a Compass by Sarah Ferguson. It’s pretty good too!!
There are so many great books and great authors. 🙂
Great list of books Sandee! I have put a few of those on my list! Now that I don’t have a job (I won’t say I’m not working as I’m working harder than I did when I had a job) I am taking the time to do some reading. After all the illness in my family over the summer, I am thankful for my health this week. I am thankful for you you and your hops! You ROCK!
I’m so happy you’re doing well. I so love visit you and your babies. Especially Marv. I love Marv. 🙂
I am always thankful for a good book! Thanks for sharing some of yours!
You’re most welcome. I love the smell of a good book. 🙂
Oh, the joy of reading. How i do enjoy my quiet book time.
Me too, my friend, me too. Happy weekend. 🙂
Looks like some interesting reading, my friend.🥰.📚
I’ve always been surrounded by books. 🙂
Books are great friends.
Yes they are. Love reading. 🙂
When I was more involved with blogging, I rarely read books anymore, all I read were pet blogs! Now that I have some down time when at my shop, I’ve started reading books again. Then I realized how much I had missed them!
I try to do everything and reading is right up there at the top of the list. Smooches to Luke. 🙂
Mom loves to read too, and she sees some of her favorite authors on your list. She may just have to check out some of those books.
Have a great weekend.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
I love action books the very best. Have a great weekend and scritches to the pups. 🙂
Dad’s gonna steal your thankful. He and mom always have a stack on the headboard, and they love to immerse themselves in books nonstop.
It’s a wonderful thankful indeed. Books are wonderful. Have a great weekend. 🙂
That sounds awesome! I need to get an actual book. I took up reading a lot on my kindle during this pandemic, but I miss the feel of a real book. Reading is the best!
We love our books. I’ve not got into Kindle, but hubby has. If you’re traveling the Kindle is the best. 🙂
