Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.

I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

I’m thankful my oldest granddaughter is having a birthday in a few days. She’ll be 30 and she made me laugh out loud when she said she’s old. I’ll be 70 in September.

I’m so thankful for our visit last week with our granddaughter and our great grands. The last time we visited with them was February of 2020. It took a bit for the twins to warm up to us, but when they did we had lots of fun. We also had pizza and played with them and their toys. A great time was had by all.
The first shot is of the twins in bed. The second shot is Diana on her tricycle. The third shot is James wanting something out of the refrigerator and the last shot is Audi and James. We’re looking forward to seeing them again. They are all so precious.

What are you thankful for today?

Omgoodness! I really can’t believe how much they’ve grown! And still cutie patooties. 🙂 Your granddaughter made me laugh too! I remember when I thought 30 was old… Hahahaha! I’ll be 74 when my oldest grandson turns 30. Holy smokes. I can’t even think about it but hey, how cool is it to be a great grandma??? And such a cool gr. grandma at that! 😀 This post made me smile. You do have much to be thankful for. You are blessed. – I love you Sandee. I’m so happy you shared these moments with us. ❤

Happy times getting to visit after the big lock down. You are blessed indeed to spend time with these sweeties. all six of our grands are 32 to 37 and our children are now on the senior side being over 55. yikes

    • Sandee says:

Yes and you’re done. That’s the very best part. I didn’t care for all the drops, but I made sure I did every single one of them. 🙂

They are sure adorable and look very happy too! I’m glad you had a good visit. What is about 30 that seems old to these young’ens?!? My daughter-in-law was practically depressed with the big 3-0 and I was thinking wha???! 30 was an awesome age. 🙂

    • Sandee says:

It wasn’t my best birthday either and I remember my mom looking at me like I lost my mind. I get that now, but didn’t then.

They are indeed such happy little ones. Such a joy to be around. 🙂

Those grands are super cute! WOW! Turning 30. I sure loved my thirties. I bet you are going to love your 70’s because you are so super cool. I am not afraid of aging, just the aching and such. Even the gray hair makes me thankful and happy. I am so glad you had such a great visit with your loved ones. That is always a plus isn’t it? Have a wonderful weekend and take care. ENJOY life! HUGS and LOVE

Wonderful, Sandee! 💞 Our youngest granddaughter turned 24 on June 25th and we drove to Camden to ride The Schooner Olaf and spend a beautiful day together… It was wonderful and we are so grateful for our Grands andd Great Grands! oxoxo

Aww Happy Birthday in advance to your granddaughter! Tell her that in your 30s it’s like walking on a see-saw, and the further go you the closer you get to knowing it’s a downhill tumble to 40 😂 For that very reason, I’m avoiding my birthday this year!

I’m so glad you guys all got to meet up and see the little ones, especially after such a long time apart. That’s wonderful 💜 I hope you get to do it again before too long xx

  11. Lisa says:

Awwww….I love the fact that you’ve been able to reconnect with you great grands! So many memories were missed last year. I hope you have many more wonderful visits!

Happy Birthday to yor Grand daugher, the great grandkis are adorable.I do wonder sometimes what might have been had I been able to have kids myself.

    • Sandee says:

A lot of expense is what would have happened. Kids are very expensive. Their teenage years can be a nightmare too. The grands are worth the wait. 🙂
