Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.

I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

I’m thankful that earlier this month hubby and I spent three nights at Pittsburg Municipal Marina. We always enjoy cruising there and there is so much to do. We spend our time reading and enjoying being on the water. We were joined by another couple and had a great time visiting. We’d not seen them since last November.

The first photograph is a freighter passing the marina. They pass about 50 yards from where our boat was docked. They come and go all the time. We saw four during this trip. The second photograph is my dinner at La Veranda. You don’t go to Pittsburg without having dinner there. The third shot was the sunset on the last night we were there. It was breathtakingly beautiful. The last shot is the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo I had the first night we were there. None of those dishes are good for you, but I had them anyway.

What are you thankful for today?

Those meals both look delicious, and who cares if they are not good for you when you are enjoying yourselves.

both plated dinners look yummy from here, and I love to read. I used to read a lot while sitting on the beach in the evenings or early morning. i am happy for you that you are back to cruising and seeing old friends.

It’s amazing the first time you see one go by. They are huge and if you’re out on the water you have to stay out of their way. 🙂

That sounds like and looks like such a fun time! Our blogging buds from Savannah’s Paw Tracks live somewhere overlooking that marina I think. Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

What a wonderful weekend you 2 had. I am purrsonally thankful I was able to enjoy your most delicious meals w/o any worry as to whether or not they were good for me. I say once in a while dishes like that are just what the Doc would order especially after the last 16 months
    Hugs Cecilia

Oh Yum! Terrific looking food! And now I am officially a little homesick. for Vancouver. I so miss the sights the sounds the smells and the food. My sister still lives on the coast and I can’t wait for the Canadian restrictions to be lifted so I can visit. Thanks for sharing your photos they make my hear sing!

I hope you can visit soon. We had a lot of travel plans last year and canceled them all. Now we’re done with traveling. Big hugs. 🙂
