Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.

I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

I had the honor of being in charge of the links for the Dr. Seuss Day celebration this past Tuesday. I gladly accepted this task and set about to make everything perfect. I didn’t come close. The comments were closed and the link to my Dr. Seuss Day post was all messed up. I was in tears trying to unravel what a mess I made. I finally succeeded. I have no idea how I made such a mess of it, but at least the links were out there for folks to link-up.

You’re wondering why I’m including this in a Thankful Thursday post? I’m thankful that I got up early and set about fixing things as quickly as I could. I’m also thankful for the kindness shown even though I dropped the ball. You all ROCK!

What are you thankful for today?

Blogging seems so easy to most, but when you blog and you are not really tech savvy, it can bring one to tears. When links break, people can’t comment all of the sudden, or your pages don’t show up correctly, it really is hard. Thank you so much for taking on the hosting task! We didn’t notice any issues but even if we had, stuff happens. Blogging should be fun and if someone gets too uptight, that is sad. Thank you to you for being you and doing the best only you can do 🙂

Yes to all those things. I was having a time of it for a bit. That’s all I can do is do the best I can do. That’s all any of us can do. 🙂

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Sandee absolutely don’t worry about it…bless your heart. I understand though ’cause techie stuff is just that stuff and all screwed up sometimes. I only had one attempt at leaving a comment but then it worked okey dokey
I am thankful for YOU for stepping up to take on the linky issue…it can be a grizzly bear sometimes. I’m sorry your day started out with so much stress!!

I’m thankful for your Dr. Seuss post! <3 I visited a few of the participating blogs and appreciate so many bloggers honoring The Good Doctor in a year when Reading Across America has gotten little positive attention. Hip, Hip Hooray for Dr. Seuss and all his fans!

  9. Xena and Lucy says:

I think we are always surprised at the grace shown us by others when we “mess up.” We are usually harder on ourselves than we are on others, or than others are on us. If it’s any help, I didn’t even notice! Thanks for being willing to do all that you do.

You’re right, I can be pretty hard on myself over the simplest things. It was just that so many were depending on me to get the links right. 🙂

    • Sandee says:

Many did know though. I’m okay now, but when you’re asked to help in some way and it fails it leaves you feeling pretty badly. Smooches to Marv. 🙂

You are such an amazing and kind heart. I am going to stowaway on your boat one day sh………don’t tell the others. (wink wink)
    Happy Weekend!

Actually, it was a great post. Just only that I tried to comment but couldn’t find the comment box. Thankful that you finally get to set it right again. Have a wonderful thankful day!

    • Sandee says:

Thank you my friend. I think I’m the one that messed it up though. The question is how. Oh well, it’s water under the bridge at this point. 🙂

Hey ~ Sandee ~ I am thankful that you are you ~ mistakes we all make and biggest one is to ‘beating ourselves up’ over stuff that happens ~ Be loving and gentle with your Self as you are with others ~ We love you ~ for you ~ perfection doesn’t exist ~ right? ~ You will have to remind me someday of this too.

Lots of love and hugs from me and Angel ~ Xox
