It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.
I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.
Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.
Today I’m thankful for all the rain we’ve been getting. We live in Central California and we have more fair weather than wet weather. We also live in a desert. We go for many months without rain, but when the rain shows up it’s wonderful.
After days of rain I welcome the sunshine back. As I write this the sky is blue and the sun is shining. It recharges my batteries.
What are you thankful for today?

I can imagine the joy of a rain in the desert, the scent of the air!
Have a fabulous day, Sandee! ❤️
Yes on both counts, Diana. You have a fabulous day too, Diana. 🙂
The rain can be a blessing. I am thankful that my snow is still here!
I know you love your snow. I saw that you were happy this morning that your snow was still there. 🙂
Sometimes we get too much rain. Maybe we could make a trade, some of our rain for some of your fair weather 🙂
The sun was actually shining here yesterday and I was pretty thankful for that.
I’d be happy with that trade. The sun makes me smile. 🙂
We dread rainy days but we don’t live in the desert. Glad you got some moisture and the sun is back.
We had a lot of rain and we were most thankful. The water content in the snow on the mountains is really good this year too. 🙂
I am thankful every day for sunshine and blue skies, i always feel so much better on sunny days… we get our rain in dumps of 2 to 3 inches and then gone. I like that and am thankful
I do too. I’m a person that needs the sun on a regular basis. We like the soft steady rain. 🙂
Sun is definitely something to be thankful for. Have a great day! XO
It sure is and I’m one of those people that needs the sun. You have a great day too, Ellen. 🙂
Splashing in puddles is da best!
It is for us humans too. 🙂
Hidey Ho there in Central CA!!
We have sun today too and it will be almost 50 degrees later. Warmest day in almost 7 days.
Hugs Cecilia
We’ll be getting 70 degree weather pretty soon. I’m ready. Hugs. 🙂
Rain is cleansing and freshens the air. I’m glad you are getting your much needed rain. Happy Thursday!
Yes it is and after they know all the nuts here in the early fall the air is filled with dust. The rain washes that all away. Happy Thursday. 🙂
No snow here in Arizona. Today 72 degrees (that’s about 23 for the Celsius crowd
It was 73 degrees here a couple weeks ago. I loved it. 🙂
Glad you received some rain. It’s a rare day it rains here, but I’d happily welcome some of its wet cousin, snow. 😉 Have a super “Furs-day.”
We don see rain for month and months and when we do we’re happy. 🙂
Also thankful for sunshine and blue skies after a bitter cold snow-stormy week here in ME! 🙂 xo
Isn’t it wonderful? All the cold and stormy weather and then the sun comes out and makes you smile. 🙂
Great thankful Sandee- we need all the rain and snow as sometimes our summers are very hot and dry! Cheers!
California burns every summer anymore. So sad. 🙂
So glad the dry is leaving for a bit and we hope it helps. If we could send our snow to add we would MOL
I think we’re doing fine this year. We’ve had lots of rain and there are puddles everywhere. 🙂
I’m thankful to have come to know you. ~hugs~ And the Wednesday photo is gorgeous! I’m glad you received some needed rain. I would miss our various seasons. 🙂
I’m thankful that I have come to know you too, Darla. I’ve met so many wonderful people this past year. A blessing. Hugs. 🙂
You folk needed rain so badly and now its time for it to go away for a spell. What are we thankful for? So many things! Mom says what we need is more snow for our mountains. The more snow pack the less chance for horrendous forest fires in the summer.
Shoko
Snow pack is good but only if the water content is high. Happy Thursday. 🙂
Hi Sandee! We are thankful you are getting rain! We have a very similar climate here, but being in the Great White North, we do get snow in the winter. This year we don’t have enough and we will have to be extra vigilante for fires this summer. The low snow pack goes all the way up past where the Canadian Cats live (they are further north of us and we are actually closer-as the crow flies-to you. And I will keep Marv’s secret! We hope you have a marvellously Happy Day!
Weather does one thing one year and another the next. It’s the way of things. I love all your kitties, but Marv is my favorite. 🙂
All those pics of the sweet critters. As much as I love critters I think in Pa. they need to stop using that ground hog. Brat said six more weeks of winter. YUCK…
I heard that. Not what we wanted to hear at all. 🙂
Happy Thursday! Hope your day is going good. <3
I’m glad we had a nice warm day yesterday of 81 degrees. Wish it would stay that way, but by next week we’ll be cold again.
Yikes 81 degrees? That’s heaven. Enjoy. 🙂
I’ll bet you were really happy to see the rain, y’all can always use it. Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Yes we were thrilled. Hubby was so happy he did his five miles walk in the rain. He was most happy. 🙂
It sounds very inviting with the sunshine back ~ lovely thankfuls ~ I too am grateful that we connected ~ you are a treasure ^_^
Lots of Xox to you from me and Angel ~

You are a treasure too, Carol. I’m so glad we found each other. Smooches to Angel. 🙂
We are thankful that it warmed up to the 30s today.
Warmed up to the 30s? Yikes. That’s cold. 🙂
We had a couple of days of sun, and are now back to clouds. Both are needed so i am thankful that they alternate!
Today there’s not a cloud in the sky and no rain in the forecast. We need more rain. 🙂
We’re getting snow again today, our second storm this week. Plus there are two more storms predicted this week! As much as I’m not excited about all that snow, we were in a drought before winter, so we really do need all the moisture.
I hear you. Living in a desert you appreciate the rain. Smooches to Luke. 🙂
I love and appreciate the rain too since I live in the desert as well. The sunny beautiful weather of Feb is some of my favorites times of the year in the desert for sure!
We went to the post office today and it’s warm out. Feels like spring. I love it too. 🙂
