It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.
I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.
Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.
I’m thankful for air conditioning. We have hot summers here in central California. I can’t imagine not having air conditioning.
I’m thankful for clean water to drink. Many folks around the world don’t have clean water.
I’m thankful that hubby and I have enough to eat. Many folks around the world go to sleep at night hungry.
I’m thankful to live in the U.S. and enjoy the freedom we have. There are many that want to take that freedom away.
What are you thankful for today?

Its a beautiful thankful post. I am also thankful for what you are thankful for. There are so many things to be thankful for that we often take for granted until we lose it. Have a beautiful day and stay safe.
This virus has taught me so much about taking things for granted. I did take things for granted. Not anymore. You have a beautiful day too and stay safe. 🙂
I’ve never liked air conditioning but the last couple years I’ve been less tolerant of the heat and I”m learning to appreciate it a whole lot more.
I can’t imagine not having it. When we’re young the heat doesn’t affect us as much as when we’re older. 🙂
My mom is always thankful for A/C. As a kid growing up, her dad said A/C wasn’t necessary and was such a big expense for so few days here in MN. She would sleepover at friend’s homes on hot days to be able to enjoy the A/C. Ever since she moved out, she has had A/C with the exception of living in Germany, but there it really was never that hot. A/C is something we are all thankful for every hot day!
We didn’t have air conditioning in Oregon as a kid. Never even knew it existed until I moved to California. 🙂
I agree that I’m thankful for all the things you mentioned here. Those are the things I’m thankful for everyday and every morning when I take my first sip of coffee I say out loud I’m thankful that I can lay in bed and have my first cup of coffee and that I can afford to have the coffee and that I’m laying in a bed and not living on the street
Amen to that, Sandra. I live in California and the homeless are everywhere. It’s awful. 🙂
The kitties and I sure enjoy our Air Conditioning. Sandee, you and Zane have a perfect day.
Yes your kitties do. They are so precious and deserve the best as you do, Marg. You have a perfect day too. 🙂
Excellent thankfuls today Sandee. I think the past 5 months have made us all more aware of things we might have taken for granted
Hugs Cecilia
Yes it has, honey. I will never takes those things for granted anymore. I’m more at peace now than before this virus hit and I thought I was at peace then. Hugs. 🙂
Oh yes, it is really wonderful to have air conditioning this time of year. Hopefully in 46 days we won’t be needing it when autumn officially arrives. 😍
It is indeed. I love it when we quit using it in the autumn too. 🙂
Yes, it’s nice while you need it but nicer when you can open the windows to cool off with fresh air.
Freedom is great but I wish that all the people, especially the rich people would understand that. Those that are poor & black may not understand what we express about Freedom. I always ask God that all mankind understands what Freedom means. Enjoy Thursday my friend. Keep safe Sandee.
Cruisin Paul
You and I are on such different pages about politics, Paul. Night and day. The rich people in government don’t care one bit about the poor people. They use the poor people to get richer. That’s both sides of the aisle too. 🙂
Terrific thankfuls! We sure couldn’t get by without air conditioning here and we’d be thankful if we could get our country back. Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Yes on getting our country back. Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. 🙂
Still healthy, still happy, still here, ergo: still thankful. Have a great day!
Yes, yes, yes and yes, Paul. You have a great day too. 🙂
Thankful that I’m still working, thankful that we can afford cat food AND people food, for the roof over our head, and for the possibilities that living in America gives us. Responsibility walks hand-in-hand with freedom; some folks are showing that they only can work with one half of this equation, imho.
Yes working is a good thing. Many are suffering horribly. Yes on responsibility and freedom. 🙂
I’m thankful for A/C too. When I was a child and living in FL, we had A/C window units and many fans throughout the house. There was no A/C in my elementary school and I remember it was awful. Now, I truly appreciate central A/C. Happy Thursday and stay cool.
I’ve been there back in the day. Air conditioning wasn’t in many places in my youth. 🙂
That’s a lot to be thankful for, big and small things. Our friend invested in an air conditioning unit as well, because the summer months here are becoming warmer as well.
Have a great Thankful Thursday.
Air conditioning is so nice. We have lots of heat for most of the year. We really need it. You have a great Thankful Thursday too, Viola. 🙂
wonderful thankfuls ~ Don’t know what happened but I had to repost my thursday post because it disappeared ~ Thanks for the Happy Birthday message ~ it warmed my heart ~ Xox to you ^_^
Live each moment with love,

Sending you loving hugs, Carol. 🙂
Such beautiful thankfuls today!!
Thank you so much. Scritches to the pups. 🙂
Those are some great reasons to be thankful. We say ditto to all of them. With the heat building back up here, we are especially happy we have good a/c.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
We are happy about the air conditioning too. 🙂
Love your thankfuls.
Thank you, Ragine. 🙂
What a great reminder not to take these things for granted!
Yes. I won’t anymore. 🙂
Happy Thankful Thursday!! We love all the things that you are thankful for. Air conditioning is on the top of our list during the summer. Thanks for the wonderful share. Have a wonderful rest of your day.
Yes on the air conditioning. We’re on our boat and it’s hot. 🙂
We are beyond thankful that our power just came back on!
Great news. Enjoy. 🙂
Thankful for family and our many blessings! 🙂
Me too, Bette, me too. 🙂
Ah….a/c is the best during these miserable heat waves. I know you are a happy sea lover! Have a great weekend. HUGS across the miles XO
We’re on our boat right now and are going on a cruise in a couple of hours. Hugs. 🙂
I always love your Thankful Thursday posts, my friend. We really are so blessed when we look around and see such incredible suffering in our world. Just as you say, being thankful for the food we eat, the water we drink, and the love we share is more than enough!
I too am thankful for air conditioning. We live on the coast where the humidity in summer-time is outrageous. 3 seconds outside and you’re already sweating up a storm. (sigh)
I’m also thankful for online friends who show love, support and encouragement. It’s a blessing beyond words to have such a circle of friends to call family. I count you among them, Sandee. Thanks for all you do for each of us. 🤗
Aw, thank you Holly. You’re a dear friend too, Have a great weekend. 🙂
I am agreeing with all your thankfuls! While we don’t get a lot of hot weather here, we are wimps for the times that we do, so the a/c is definitely appreciated! 🙂
Our summers are hot. Central California is that way. 🙂
Wonderful thankfuls. I appreciate a/c and fresh water all the more after losing power for 3 days. XO
I’m so happy things are back on for you, Ellen. I really missed you. 🙂
Air conditioning is an amazing gift. I don’t even know how my forefathers lived in Southern Az without it ?!!
Have a great one 🙂
I don’t either, but no one had it so they found ways to survive the heat. You have a great one too. 🙂
