Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.

I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

I’m thankful for air conditioning. We have hot summers here in central California. I can’t imagine not having air conditioning.

I’m thankful for clean water to drink. Many folks around the world don’t have clean water.

I’m thankful that hubby and I have enough to eat. Many folks around the world go to sleep at night hungry.

I’m thankful to live in the U.S. and enjoy the freedom we have. There are many that want to take that freedom away.

Its a beautiful thankful post. I am also thankful for what you are thankful for. There are so many things to be thankful for that we often take for granted until we lose it. Have a beautiful day and stay safe.

    • Sandee says:

This virus has taught me so much about taking things for granted. I did take things for granted. Not anymore. You have a beautiful day too and stay safe. 🙂

I’ve never liked air conditioning but the last couple years I’ve been less tolerant of the heat and I”m learning to appreciate it a whole lot more.

  3. My GBGV Life says:

My mom is always thankful for A/C. As a kid growing up, her dad said A/C wasn’t necessary and was such a big expense for so few days here in MN. She would sleepover at friend’s homes on hot days to be able to enjoy the A/C. Ever since she moved out, she has had A/C with the exception of living in Germany, but there it really was never that hot. A/C is something we are all thankful for every hot day!

I agree that I’m thankful for all the things you mentioned here. Those are the things I’m thankful for everyday and every morning when I take my first sip of coffee I say out loud I’m thankful that I can lay in bed and have my first cup of coffee and that I can afford to have the coffee and that I’m laying in a bed and not living on the street

    • Sandee says:

Yes it has, honey. I will never takes those things for granted anymore. I’m more at peace now than before this virus hit and I thought I was at peace then. Hugs. 🙂

Freedom is great but I wish that all the people, especially the rich people would understand that. Those that are poor & black may not understand what we express about Freedom. I always ask God that all mankind understands what Freedom means. Enjoy Thursday my friend. Keep safe Sandee.

    • Sandee says:

You and I are on such different pages about politics, Paul. Night and day. The rich people in government don’t care one bit about the poor people. They use the poor people to get richer. That’s both sides of the aisle too. 🙂

Terrific thankfuls! We sure couldn’t get by without air conditioning here and we’d be thankful if we could get our country back. Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

  7. Eastside Cats says:

Thankful that I’m still working, thankful that we can afford cat food AND people food, for the roof over our head, and for the possibilities that living in America gives us. Responsibility walks hand-in-hand with freedom; some folks are showing that they only can work with one half of this equation, imho.

I’m thankful for A/C too. When I was a child and living in FL, we had A/C window units and many fans throughout the house. There was no A/C in my elementary school and I remember it was awful. Now, I truly appreciate central A/C. Happy Thursday and stay cool.

That’s a lot to be thankful for, big and small things. Our friend invested in an air conditioning unit as well, because the summer months here are becoming warmer as well.
    Have a great Thankful Thursday.

Those are some great reasons to be thankful. We say ditto to all of them. With the heat building back up here, we are especially happy we have good a/c.

Ah….a/c is the best during these miserable heat waves. I know you are a happy sea lover! Have a great weekend. HUGS across the miles XO

I always love your Thankful Thursday posts, my friend. We really are so blessed when we look around and see such incredible suffering in our world. Just as you say, being thankful for the food we eat, the water we drink, and the love we share is more than enough!

I too am thankful for air conditioning. We live on the coast where the humidity in summer-time is outrageous. 3 seconds outside and you’re already sweating up a storm. (sigh)

I’m also thankful for online friends who show love, support and encouragement. It’s a blessing beyond words to have such a circle of friends to call family. I count you among them, Sandee. Thanks for all you do for each of us. 🤗

  14. Jan K says:

I am agreeing with all your thankfuls! While we don’t get a lot of hot weather here, we are wimps for the times that we do, so the a/c is definitely appreciated! 🙂

  15. Jen says:

Air conditioning is an amazing gift. I don’t even know how my forefathers lived in Southern Az without it ?!!

    Have a great one 🙂
