It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.
I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.
Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.
I’m thankful that we finally got to out on a cruise on our boat. Things are starting to open back up and it was a delight to be able to go to a restaurant for dinner.
The above bridge is called Three Mile Slough Bridge. It’s not been operational for over a year. Hubby and I timed our passage under this bridge at low tide both going to our destination and coming back from our destination. We require 12′ to safely get under. If we don’t get under this bridge it will add 2.5 hours to our travel time each way.
I’m thankful for my haircut. We have standing appointments for our haircuts the first Thursday of each month. Today is that day.
I’m thankful for having my beautiful nails back. Yesterday was my second appearance for my nails.
I will never take any of these thankful things for granted ever again.
What are you thankful for today?

Yes shortcuts always saves lives and time. 🙂
That’s a lot of extra travel time it you can’t go under the bridge. Talk about a long way around!
Enjoy the hair cut. I think hair salons in the UK will be opening before too long too. xx
It’s a very long way around. We prefer to scoot under the bridge if we can. xoxo 🙂
I’m happy you were able to get back out on the boat. That bridge sure does make a difference in travel time.
Yes five hours is a huge difference. We check the tides and go if we can at low tide. That doesn’t always work out. Sometimes low tide is in the middle of the night. 🙂
We are so happy you are cruising again. What a beautiful photo. Mom still hasn’t eaten at a restaurant because of the mask thing…just too weird, but she gets take out sometimes.
It wasn’t bad. We wore the masks in and then took them off at the table. When we were ready to leave we puts the masks back on. 🙂
We have not eaten out in 4 months and I don’t know when we will. Florida is open but so is the virus and Florida is the number one hotspot for the virus heading the nation plus we live in a red County. Glad you got to get out and go in the boat that’s the one thing that people are doing here going out in boats
If you’re on your own boat and no one is around it’s all good. We have done take out and that’s what we’ll continue to do for now. 🙂
We haven’t been to a restaurant since the lockdown. The virus is still too much of a threat to get out and around. We miss traveling to the mountains. That is a beautiful photo of the bridge! Happy Thursday.
We’ve only been out that weekend, but they had rules in place and we followed them. Reservation only so they could control how many were in and they spaced people out very nicely. 🙂
Glad you got out on the boat and that you two are healthy etc.We are good here too. Our little Mahoney who has not felt good for a long time started eating last night. So this is really good news. Sandee, you and Zane have a fabulous day.
I’m so happy about Mahoney. We worry about our little ones all the time. You have a fabulous day too, Marg. Love you. 🙂
That bridge is really pretty and I’m glad you enjoyed your cruise! Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
It’s spooky going under it. You think you don’t have enough room, but if it’s over 12 feet you’re good. Spooky. 🙂
Happy you were able to get out and enjoy a lovely day on the water. Happy “Blursday.”
It was most wonderful. Scritches to the pups. 🙂
We are thankful for our many fans to keep us cool.
Me too, Miss Molly. 🙂
I looked up ‘slough’!
Good, now you know. 🙂
Get away from there. If there’s some land sticking out of the water, it’s Three Mile Island. Run for it.
Wrong state, Kismet. You crack me up. I love you bunches. 🙂
I get my 2nd hair cut on the 10th. Looking forward to it and so thankful 🤗((Hugs))
Going later this morning. We’re so happy. Got my nails and toes done yesterday. Hugs back, Michelle. 🙂
Beautiful photo ~ used to love going under bridges when I boated ~ and thanks for your well wishes for Zoe ~ I am beside myself right now ~ had to leave her at the Vets for tests ~ she was in rough shape all last night and this morning ~ hoping for the best ~ she is my purpose in life. ~
Lots Xox to you and hubby from me and Zoe ^_^ ~ Happy Boating ~ Happy 4th

Prayers for Ms. Zoe. She’s such a precious soul. Big healing hugs to you and especially Ms. Zoe. 🙂
It looks like a lovely cruise, glad you were able to do that – and some nice thankfuls today!
We had a great time. Not going back out until after the 4th of July. 🙂
Important to get the timing right for clearance to go under the bridge. Enjoy your cruising on your boat.
We’re planning another trip around mid-month. Just the two of us though so we won’t be around anyone else. We love boating. 🙂
I’m so glad you had a good time! ~hugs~
It was most wonderful to get back out on the water after 3.5 months. Hugs. 🙂
Same here. My first haircut after Corona was pure bliss, and like you I vowed I would never take it for granted again.
Have a great day!
Yes no more taking these things for granted. What a difference a haircut makes. 🙂
I was wonderful to go boating with the Love of My Life.
Your loving Husband.
That goes both ways. You’re my only forever.
Your loving wife. ♥♥♥
My wife called to have her cut but the lady who usually does it needs to have an operation. Me., I have an operation to have a pedicure on Saturday. THank God. Have a great day Sandee.
Cruisin Paul
It’s good to get the things we love done. We feel much better for it. I had a heavenly pedicure yesterday. You have a great day too, Paul. 🙂
I too was thrilled to have my first hair cut in early June, and thankfully I get to have another one next week.
I’m very thankful I have more than 2 rolls of extra t.p. The last few weeks of March into early April I was dangerously close to NONE
Hugs Cecilia
Haircuts and nails and toes are something I enjoy so much. Got my nails and toes done yesterday and we’re leaving soon for our monthly haircuts. Life is good. We are okay on toilet paper, but we were very close to out when this all started. Hugs my friend. 🙂
Haircuts, right?! It’s the little things. I love your Thankful posts 🙂
Yes it’s the little things that mean so very much. 🙂
That is a spectacular photo!!! We can see why you enjoy sailing so much. Happy Hair Day!!!
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
I’ve got my summer cut today. It’s wonderful. My nails and toes are done and my hair is perfect for summer. 🙂
Glad you got to go out on the boat. And got haircuts. I got mine done last week and hubby finally got his yesterday- both of us had not been since December. Have a great day. XO
Feels good to look normal again. We were terrible. Have a great day, Ellen. 🙂
What a beautiful photo! Glad you enjoyed sailing!! Summer cut is another thing! 🙂
We did indeed. Love my summer cut. 🙂
Oh you have a great thankful list. I had that haircut two weeks ago. It was a blessing. I gave up my painted nails. Needed a breather from wearing the fake nails. I do love to polish them though. Waiting on amazon and my infared heating pad/ My SIL Zach let me borrow his last weekend. No more achy low back pain. So we ordered one for ourselves. It is nice since we can use our health flex card. Thankful for all those things. Thanks to for all you do. HUGS xo
I thought about not doing my nails anymore, but I’m just not ready. Someday. Yesterday I got my summer cut. My hair is very short now and I LOVE it. 🙂
THankful for shortcuts too! Nice bridge. 🙂
Shortcuts are always welcome. Especially this one. Word has it this bridge will be operational next month. I hope so. 🙂
That is awesome. There is not better escape than getting on a boat.
We can be all by ourselves and be out on the water. It’s magical. 🙂
thankful for a nice relaxing day.
I am thankful for the same thing, Paul. 🙂
I’m thankful my hubby finally got his hair cut! He was starting to look like Doc from Back to the Future – LOL. I still need to go myself, but I can just tie my hair right back in the summer so not as much of a rush. 🙂
So glad you were able to get out on your boat and have a nice dinner out too!
We look mighty good today after our haircuts yesterday. I have my summer cut and it’s wonderful. 🙂
