It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.
I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.
Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.
I’m thankful that we got to visit with our friend John several times while he was in Hospice. John passed away Tuesday evening June 2nd. He was a wonderful friend for many years.
I’m thankful that hubby and I were able to help him pull off boating functions as he aged. They can be very labor intensive at times. At first he resisted and then he embraced our help.
I’m thankful that we spent many wonderful weekends at boating functions with him and his wife Lucy. Lucy passed away last year on July 5th.
I’m thankful we had both of them in our lives. John and Lucy you are missed.

I’m thankful to having a Facebook now that I was able to take photos of my grandchildren of their special interests. Also I was able to show some of the students I taught especially Gary and Steve. Today they are police officers, Steve in Amherstburg and Gary in London, Ontario. I;m so proud of them One student is an officer in Sarnia and and student who became an RCMP in British Columbia. Fantastic students, fantastic men today.

I saw that yesterday. Thanks for inviting me. Being a police officer was hard enough back when we were doing the job. I can’t imagine being a cop now. 🙂

Thank you my friend. 🙂
Condolences on the passing of your friend Sandee. On a brighter note, I’m thankful that the factory I work for has remained in business during the Covid lockdown & I’ve kept my job. At the same time I can’t help feel for all those who lost jobs & businesses that were forced to close. Some have had a real tough time because of the virus.
It’s been awful all the jobs lost. Things are finally opening here. 🙂
