It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.
I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.
Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.
We are thankful that we’re fortunate to own a boat and have traveled the California Delta all the way to San Francisco. We have visited most of the yacht clubs along the way.
We miss boating. Everything is closed. We miss going to different marinas with friends and having a great time visiting different restaurants and venues. We hope this changes in the near future.
We are thankful that we got to visit a dear friend that has just been placed in Hospice. Cancer is a horrible thing. We love you John.

I saw the picture of the boat and thought you finally got to go out on it. Hopefully soon. I’m ready for things to get back to a bit of normal
No that was some years ago. I was just getting big withdrawals so went looking for some fun cruises. 🙂
I hope you are soon able to get back on your boat and enjoy the things you love to do.
I send my best thoughts for your friend John.
I’m sure we will. We’re doing our part any saying away from others. Thank you for the thoughts for John. 🙂
We think dog sports for us are like boating for you. It is our social life where we have so much fun and get to hang out with friends. We may be able to do some dog sports in late June. Paws crossed. Very sorry to hear about your friend going to hospice. Thank goodness you got to see him.
We all have the things we love. I sure enjoy seeing your dog sports. Such fun. Yes we were very happy to see him. We’ll go next week if he’s still with us. 🙂
How i do hope you get to go boating again soon. Prayers for your friend John, may his final days be full of peace.
Yes he’s not in pain and that’s amazing. He’s happy about that and so is everyone else. 🙂
Sending much love and prayers for your friend John, his family and all of his dear friends.- Your photos are so beautiful. I hope you’re able to get back at it soon. – Love you xoxo
Thank you for the prayers for John and his family and friends. Love you too, Karen. 🙂
We are thankful to see the sun for DAYS in a row! We are sending lots of positive and healing vibes for John♥
We had rain here too and now it’s warming up. Summer is coming quickly. Thanks for the good vibes for John. He’s terminal though. 🙂
Am not so thankful for the 2-hour conference call I’m on right now, however I AM thankful to still be gainfully employed.
I’m happy you’re gainfully employed too. Many aren’t. 🙂
I am sorry about your friend. Right now is a tough time for hospice care, because families have limited access. I am glad you could see him
John is at home and said he was receiving visitors. We weren’t the only ones that visited him that day. He’s loved by many. 🙂
Oh the times in which we find ourselves are such a challenge especially with all the changes and new things we have to learn and remember. I too am thankful you were able to visit John.
Hugs Cecilia
We were too. He called us on Sunday and we were there Tuesday morning. Would have been there Monday, but our security company needed to take care of our alarm. Hugs back. 🙂
I do hope that you can go boating soon Sandee. Why can’t you and in Fort Lauderdale they are all taking their boats out on the water, all sizes of boats.
I thank God that my family is doing well.

Our boats only come out of the water when we pull it to clean and repaint the hull. We figures we’ll be out on the water mid June. Stay safe and I’m glad you’re all doing well. 🙂
Sorry to hear about your friend John ~ hard to see our significant people suffer ~ Xox
Beautiful boating photos ~ it is a lovely summer activity one that I have missed for several years ~ Enjoy just sitting on the boat ~ ^_^ You will get out there again ~
Xox to you both from me and Zoe ~

Yes indeed. We buried his wife last summer. She was a wonderful friend as her husband John is. So sad.
If I were near you we’d take you out on our boat. Ms. Zoe would enjoy it too. 🙂
Those pictures look so relaxing! I am thankful for my sons achievements. 🤗((Hugs))
We so enjoy cruising to the bay. It’s so lovely to see the city from the water. 🙂
What a beautiful trip, here’s hoping you’ll be boating again soon!
We’re so ready. We have cancelled two cruises thus far. I’m thinking next month we’ll be out on the water. 🙂
So sorry about your friend. That is so sad. Sure hope you can go boating soon. That is a bummer. Sandee, you and Zane have a great day.
Yes it’s sad and we’re planning on going to the boat next Tuesday and if John is still with us we’ll go visit again. You have a great day too, Marg. 🙂
Sorry about John. When he goes, they’ll call it covid-19 to pad the statistics.
Yes and it’s cancer. He doesn’t have covid-19. I kissed him on the lips when we got ready to leave. 🙂
I am glad John has you!
I’m so glad we have John too. He’s been a wonderful friend for many years. 🙂
Nice photos. I hope you can boat again soon. I am sorry your friend John is so sick. XO
We’ll be back on the water soon. It’s worth the wait. Yes it’s sad about John. 🙂
We love you John.
We sure do. I love you too, my only. 🙂
Boating is lots of fun, we need to buy another boat and all move on it and live there. We’re very sorry to hear about John. Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
I’d need a very big boat if I had to live on it. I also need a full sized fridge and a washer and dryer. Just saying. 🙂
Hopefully you will be able to get back to boating again soon.
I am sorry your friend is doing so badly, but I am sure you will do everything to help him.
Have a fantastic Thursday!
We’re hoping so too. Looks like one of our favorite places is opening back up in mid June. We’ll be there. 🙂
We are thankful, and apprehensive also, that our youngest granddaughter, KP on my blog, has been promoted to Junior High, Grade 6. She was worried but needed have been.
..
It’s so fun to watch then grow up and move from grade to grade. Wonderful memories and milestones. 🙂
We know how much you love boating. We hope you will be able to do it again soon and safely.
Woos, Lightning and Timber
We think we’re getting close. We won’t go until it’s safe. It appears some marinas are opening. When it’s safe we’ll be out on the water. 🙂
I am sorry the marina is closed. You would think there is no better place to social distance than the ocean.
It’s not closed per say, it’s just there are no services if you go. You’d have to eat on your boat because nothing is open. 🙂
Boating can be so relaxing and peaceful. I hope you get back on board soon.
We sure enjoy it, John. We’d rather do that more than anything else. 🙂
We can imagine how much you must miss boating!
So glad you got to visit your friend!
We are so very happy we got to visit our friend. It’s so sad. Such a great guy. 🙂
Beautiful pictures of your boat trip, Sandee, we hope you can go on board again soon. In our Country everything is opening up slowly. We were out biking yesterday and everything seemed back to normal again, we didn’t had restrictions with boating, only how many people are on board…I guess we’re very lucky 🙂 Healing Pawkisses to your furriend. It’s hard to see them suffering :'( Pawkisses for a Happy Furriday…will be back later for our input🐾😽💞
We figure next month sometime. About mid month it appears. Heard today that we’re going to be able to get a haircut very soon too. I’ll never take those things for granted anymore. 🙂
i Am sure you miss it. HAve a great fun filled weekend.
We’ll be back out and about about mid month in June. We’re happy about that. 🙂
