Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.

I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

I’m thankful that hubby and I are debt free.

I’m thankful that we have enough to eat.

I’m thankful that we have a home to live in.

I’m thankful that we have toilet paper. I never thought I would ever say this.

Yes, who knew we would ever have to be thankful for having toilet paper.
I’m thankful that I can get out of the house and interact with other people 5 days a week. Otherwise I think I would go absolutely crazy

    • Sandee says:

We are homebodies so it’s not a big deal to us. We don’t really go many places other than the boat. I hear you though. 🙂

  2. My GBGV Life says:

We are thankful we have a wonderful home, and we are thankful that our mom loves us so much and we love her as much in return. She is thankful for toilet paper, and to see stores starting to get it back in stock. Now if the meat shortage would go away, things would be pretty decent!

    • Sandee says:

Your mom does love you a lot and it shows. I so enjoy all the work she does in showcasing all you cutie pies. We don’t have a meat shortage here. 🙂

  3. UP says:

ditto on the thankfuls. Who’d ever thought we’d worry about what is a the store? We are mightly blessed.

    • Sandee says:

I never thought I would. I do now. Things are much better and I’m so thankful to all the folks that are making things happen. 🙂

  4. Eastside Cats says:

When The Hubby placed the package of TP in front of me the other day, after his bi-monthly shopping trip, it brought a smile to my face! Since there are only two humans in the house, there isn’t a lot of usage, but previously, I’d be away 10-12 hours a day at the office, where I’d use up their TP and not our own. Funny!

  5. Sandra Hangey says:

ditto on each one of the things you are thankful for. and me to on never thinking about running out of TP

  6. Paul Pietrangelo says:

Totally purrfect thankfuls and who would have thought toilet paper would be so popular. Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

  8. -Eugenia says:

Our stores are now stocked with TP and paper towels! I never thought I would be extremely thankful for that. The sun is shining and there was a red cardinal in the tree outside our window. I am thankful for that. Happy Thursday!

    • Sandee says:

If you go early in the mornings you can find those things. By the time we get there, you probably won’t find any. We go kind of late. 🙂

  9. A ShutterBug Explores says:

Wonderful thankfuls ~ I agree with all of them ~ but miss my hubby ~ glad you have one to share life ~

Xox ~ to you from me and Zoe ~ to you and hubby!

100% agreement with your thankfuls…especially the tp…it seems to still be hit or miss here. I’m a pack or two ahead but I still buy it when I see it. Today flour seemed to be the new ‘white’ item that is scarce.
    Hugs Cecilia

    • Sandee says:

I found a 12 pack the other day at Raley’s. It was the last one, but still. We took it. Flour is making a comeback here. 🙂

Great thankfuls, I just love Thursdays, it is always such a wonderful reality check to be reminded of our blessings.

  12. Tails Around the Ranch says:

The longer this pandemic goes, the more grateful I become on the smallest of things. It’s been quite the gift considering a lot of life around was taken for granted. Now everyday is one to cherish and savor.

  13. Michelle says:

I’m thankful we have been approved to buy our first home. We have always rented. The Credit Union approved us and now to find a house.🤗 ((Hugs))

  14. kittiesblue says:

Sandee…all terrific things for which to be thankful. I think we seniors, if we follow CDC instructions, are better off than those in other age groups. Continue to stay healthy as your state reopens. Big hugs, Janet

    • Sandee says:

It’s funny how we took for granted all the things we used to just throw things in our shopping carts and then the shelves were empty. 🙂

  15. Jen says:

Toilet paper! Geesh! I planned badly and had to go weekly at 6 am to get a pack of 9, which lasted us way less time than I would have liked, but at least I usually got some! Thankful for that!

    • Sandee says:

We buy the huge 30 pack from Costco, so we did okay, but for a few weeks they didn’t have any paper products at all. We can get it again, so it’s all good. 🙂

  16. darlamsands says:

We are also debt free, for which I’m so very grateful. And we knew about potential shortages long before many thanks to a Youtube content creator, so were pretty well stocked on supplies without hoarding. 🙂 Be well, my dear.
