Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.

I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

I’m thankful hubby and I are healthy during this virus. We’ve stayed home for two months now and are following the rules.

I’m thankful that we aren’t being adversely affected by staying home all the time. We are home bodies anyway and we enjoy spending our time together. We do miss going to the boat, but we’ll not do that until it’s safe.

I’m thankful for all my wonderful blogging buddies. You have helped me remain connected during this time and I appreciate your kindness and support.

There is definitely plenty to be thankful for. Being healthy, still being able to go to work and bring home a paycheck, and a little dog waiting for me at home so I’m not all alone.

  2. My GBGV Life says:

Mom is thankful for us furry ones because we keep her going. This whole mess is getting to her, but she knows she has to be here for us, and we make her happy. Blogging buddies also help keep us all happy.

Wonderful list of thankfuls. I am glad you are smart and staying in. So many just don’t seem to understand the severity of this. XO

Blogging buddies are just the best, we’re so thankful for our buddies too. Hey, speaking of buddies, Marg’s computer is in the shop, that’s why she hasn’t posted. Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

    • Sandee says:

Yes they are and I’ve found so many this last couple of years. Thanks for the update on Marg. I worry about her all the time. Thanks for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. 🙂

You sound like us. We are basically homebodies too so the “stay at home” thing isn’t really bothering us. What IS bothering us is interfering family members who think we can go visit our granddaughter and stand in her driveway and see her across the yard. I am refusing to do that. I think it is cruel for a 20 month child to see people who were always hugging and kissing her and she will want to be held by us and we can’t and she can’t understand why we aren’t hugging and kissing her. We were seeing her on Facetime but now I think her Mom is upset that we won’t come and stand in their yard so she hasn’t Facetimed us for DAYS. My sister-in-law keeps saying how awful we are that we won’t go over to see her from the yard. We are following the rules too, to stay healthy and I think people shouldn’t try and make others feel guilty. I am glad you are both healthy and we are too (knock on wood)…….other family members are going to each others yards and that isn’t permitted……I am thankful to be following the rules but would be more thankful if our family would mind their own business! Aren’t you glad you asked???? lol. Stay healthy! xoxoxoxo

We wouldn’t even think of doing this with our grands and greats. They don’t understand what this virus is. We’ll wait until mom and dad says we can visit and not a minute before. You’re doing the right thing. 🙂

I’m so glad everyone is isolating, as hard as it is, it seems to be the only way to beat this thing. Best to all.

You know Sandee, I agree with you. My blogger friends pick me every time I read their comments. It keeps me going. I thank them every night when I pray to God for what I have. I;m thankful for my wife, my family, my relatives, my friends and the sun that I see each day. We will come through this mess. Keep safe my friend.

I just don’t know how you’re staying away from your boat!! I’d have to find a way to get there! We’re thankful we’ve not contracted the virus so far and are able to stay home comfortably. Take care, be safe and stay well. xoxo

    • Sandee says:

If we go to the boat there are restrooms that are public and we don’t want to do that. It’s about an hour and a half to get there and there are so many things that could go wrong. You stay well and safe too. 🙂

I am thankful for my hubby and our crazy cat. I am also thankful for my blogging friends. I’ve read many posts where so many are struggling with their lives during these difficult times. My hubby and I are home most of the time anyway and not antsy to get out and around. I’m very grateful for nature and the internet. Happy Thursday!

Wonderful things to be thankful for. The blogging community is amazing, it’s a second home for us all.
Boating will be something for you two to look forward to once things start to return to some degree of safety and normality, once the virus is over (hard to imagine that happening, but it will, eventually). xx

Great list of things to be thankful for, Sandee! Especially, good health. 🙂 May you be able to resume your boating activities, very soon! Hubby has been laid off, so this 24/7 togetherness is a bit of a retirement preview. There was a period of adjustment at first, but I think we’ll be fine, in the long run. 😀 Best wishes for a better May and beyond. Cheers!

I’m glad you are staying in and staying safe. I am thankful for chemotherapy to help extend life. We did not follow the rules we went to my mom, and I’m so glad we did. I don’t know how/when we’ll get back home though. It’s going to be awhile, months for sure, maybe more.

  16. World Of Animals, Inc. says:

  18. Jen says:

I have so much to be grateful for now too as well! I am actually going to miss this together-time when we kind of go back to our new normal. Gratitude is kind of my go-to these days!

    Have a great one!

    • Sandee says:

We are doing well, and it’s not much of a stretch for us. We don’t really go anywhere but the boat so that’s the only thing we’re really missing. 🙂
