Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.

I’m thankful for all the medical folks that are working the front lines during this virus. Keep them safe.

I’m thankful for all the truckers out on the road that are hauling essential food and other items needed to keep our families whole. Keep them safe

I’m thankful for all the folks in all our supermarkets that are working so hard to keep the shelves stocked so we can feed our families. Keep them safe.

I’m thankful that I’ve seen orderly people going about their business and being kind. Keep them safe.

My wish to all my blogging buddies that you and yours will be safe and well through these trying times.

Right at this very moment I am thankful for the cup of coffee that is helping me wake up before I head off for work this morning.

  2. messymimi's meanderings says:

Yes, and to the farmers and factory workers producing what we need to keep those shelves stocked, as well as the people providing electricity and water and sewer service and garbage pick up — all of them, i can’t thank them enough.

Praying you have a wonderful day!

  3. My GBGV Life says:

We are thankful Mom still has some work, and some things are getting easier to find at the store, but dang it, hoarders, leave the essentials alone so people can at least buy some! We are just thankful for good health and a home.

  4. Sandra Hangey says:

I am thankful you listed all the things you are thankful for because I am to, but could not think of anything to write. I am having a down day

I even waived at the garbage guys; they are working too! When a squad car rolls past, I waive. The postal worker too! We are all in it together, even though we are separated.

Hi Sandee, that’s a good list of things to be thankful for! It is at times like these that it’s even more important to count our blessings and the things we are thankful for. Right now I am thankful for where we live and the way the government in Greece has handled the virus situation. I am so, so thankful that my parents managed to get home safely from their winter stay in Thailand, it was a stressful two weeks trying to get them back and I have yet to see them, but they are safe and well in quarantine now… And one final reason to be thankful is that after two years off faffing and waiting, my son has finally been granted Greek citizenship! Yay!

    Stay safe, stay well!

    xx

I’m thankful for you and your kind spirit, Sandee! ♥ It’s such a blessing to read these positive words amidst all the chaos. We do need to remember that people are literally putting their lives at risk so we can have our basic needs met. That’s pretty powerful if you ask me!

I too am grateful for those workers and for extra time to focus on what really matters in life. Sending my love your way! Stay well and stay safe my friend.

California is praised for doing things correctly when it came to the virus. That is great. Hopefully that means you will be able to resume your regular activities very soon. Until then, continue to stay safe. All excellent thankfuls. Hugs and love, a Janet

    • Sandee says:

California does some thing okay, but many horribly. The homeless is out of control. The drugs are out of control. So many things wrong with our state. 🙂

I’m thankful for all those people who are helping me & my family. Yesterday I waved and thanked the garbage man who picked up my garbage and he waved back. We should all wave the many garbage men who get early everyday to do a job and many people before never gave a hoot about these wonderful people before. It’s amazing how things have changed. Keep safe Sandee.

We are so thankful for all those people as well, and for all the smart people that are doing their best to get this thing figured out so it can be over soon. I think it’s good to try to stay focused on those positive things, and to especially be kind to each other. ♥

Thankful for all the folks that are essential! They are amazing, from Docs and nurses to the grocery store cashier. Thankful that FINALLY the state had me set up from home and I was able to do March billing…..

My sediments exactly! I will stop by Marge too! Also, I played the referee… um… good guy… um… well, I stopped a brother & sister fight. My hubby & his wonderful sister (love her to pieces – she’s a real great gal), they had words and I made them kiss & make up cuz it was a stupid argument anyway! hahaha CHALK ONE UP FOR MARIE!!! Aren’t you proud of me? ~hehehehe~ I wish my brother was still alive. We use to always play fight with each other, but outside of the family area he always stuck up for me and protected me too! He was a Jr., and he was also a Captain at the Romeoville fire department where they lived & he had 4 kids and he also worked nights as a truck mechanic at Berman Leasing on Associated Trucks. He was good & made good money. He was also a coach on my nephew’s baseball team and sometimes he tend bar at a friends place for extra money & as a favor to his friend. He was a good guy all around, but he liked junk food & the doctor warned him about it when he had a slight heart-attack, but then a year later the Lord said sorry Russ you did not listen and he had to go to the Lord, and broke many hearts. He was only 43 yrs. old the dingbat. I cried many times & asked why did he leave us. So sad. It was only him & I, but now I do have a step-brother and he’s very cool. Love him too pieces too! Okay, later sista…. love you so much! BIG HUGS AND DON’T FORGET… Stay Healthy! Stay Safe! STAY HOME!!! HUGS & SMOOCHES! Say a big hello to your hubby for me.. tell him his sister-in-law sends a big HELLO for him!!!! HEHEHEHE

    • Sandee says:

Sorry about your brother. That’s way too young for sure. I’m glad you stopped that silly fight. Fighting solves nothing. Love you to pieces only. I’m thankful for you. 🙂

  15. Jen says:

There really is a lot to be grateful for these days. I actually started my day with a big long prayer thanking my Heavenly Father for many of them. We are at home and quarantined with my 15 year old who has pneumonia, but the fact we can be home and still received medical treatment is another thing I am very grateful for.
