Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.

I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

I’m thankful for books. I can travel the world and never leave my chair.

I’m thankful for sunshine. It gives me the vitamin D that I need.

I’m thankful for food. It’s a joy to break bread with those we love.

I’m thankful for friends. They bring such joy. We celebrate their victories and mourn with then during times of grief.

I’m thankful for books, too. And their abundance – we’ll never read anything in a lifetime, which means there’s always something new to discuss, an endless supply of creativity, inspiration, knowledge, enjoyment…  ♥
    Happy Thursday, Sandee! xx

We are thankful for the life we are able to live, and definitely for online friends like you. There is so much to be thankful for, it is sad most of the world always focuses on the negative.

    • Sandee says:

Yes there is and you’re right about so many that just focus on the negative. Hubby and I have removed the negative out of our lives. It’s been such a wonderful thing. 🙂

After today’s weekly grocery shopping I too and thankful for food.
THE GROCERY STORE WAS A ZOO, MANY SHELVES EMPTY!! I bought extra frozen veggies. Every few weeks I buy economy pack p.chops. There are 10 to a pack 3.99 lb. I paid $7.43. So this was the week for that. Hubby is not much of a chicken guy except for BBQ. P.Chops are his other white meat. Can’t imagine the crowds by the end of the day.

I love books…you know the kind you hold in your hands. I hope and purr they are always around. Reading on a device
    makes my eyes hurt
    Hugs Cecilia

Yes all the stores are crazy. I wish the media would shut up. They are taking what the health professionals say and twisting it to meet what they want. Panic it appears. 🙂

Very good thankfuls. We often take the everyday things for granted, when they are just as important. I think lots of us will be spending more time at home for at least the next few Weeks or months, so having those books will be important. Friends and sunshine are two of the very most important things to my quality of life. Have a good day. Love and hugs, Janet

I’m thankful for the pink buds on the tree outside our window. Signs of spring! I’m also thankful for my new kitty. She’s fun, lovable and entertaining. Happy Thursday!

I am thankful for my children for they keep me a float & the reason I was put on this earth. I also believe I was put here for my husband. We are best friends first & then soulmates, but I’m also thankful for you my friend. Just when I thought there was no one out there that really cared much of being a true friend of mine I met you. I thank God for you every day. I’m on the way to the hospital now because a friend of mine I’ve known over 40 yrs. her son just called me & she’s in the hospital dying with blood pressure that sky-rocketed in the 200’s. The doctor told him he should come right away. So I just feel like it’s my place to be there. We went there last week when she had her shoulder surgery & no one was there for her. I was furious I wasn’t told so Dave drove us there. She felt better & so did I. No one should be alone when they’re having surgery. Well, gotta run. Girlfriend, please please stay healthy, happy & don’t ever forget you are loved & loved by so so many! HUGS

Those are some wonderful things to be thankful for. Mom loves to read, so she is very thankful for Kindle. It allows her to read all kinds of books without having to go to the library or bookstore. With all this social distancing we hear about, it will be a good way to keep her busy:)

Funny you mentioned Vitamin D. I had my yearly physical last Thursday and the doctor said I had ZERO Vitamin D in my blood. She immediately put me on 50,000 mg once a week til she sees me for a follow up in June. EEEK! Stay healthy!! xoxo
