It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.
I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.
Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.
I’m thankful that the clocks will spring forward next Sunday morning. I love having the sunshine later in the evenings. I wish we could just leave the time alone.
I’m thankful that we had a wonderful cruise with another couple last weekend. It was wonderful to get back out on the water in our beloved boat.
I’m thankful for the warmth. It’s been a long and cold winter. I’m a huge fan of spring and it’s almost here.

I’m thankful that it’s almost spring but I am not thankful about the clocks springing ahead. I get up early enough on Sundays but with the time change it’ll be like getting up at 3a.m. I’ll be dragging big time
I can see your point on this. Yikes. 🙂
We so wish the media would start focusing on positive things. Everything, everywhere is negative. Even though we are super positive, it is hard to stay that way when the world is all about bashing on others and negativity. Enjoy your spring.
They just can’t though. Bless their hearts. We don’t really have much media anymore. Just propaganda. So sad. 🙂
I’m that thankful for the time change, too!! I wish it would stay that way. I’m so ready for spring! Have a wonderful Thursday!
You have a wonderful Thursday too, Michelle. 🙂
We are just thankful that we have a roof over our heads and good food to eat. And for our wonderful blogging buddies. Sandee, you and Zane have a first class day.
I’m thankful for those things too, Marg. I’m thankful we’ve been friends for all these years. 🙂
I am ready for that time change too!
We’ll be able to read on the back of our boat longer in the evenings. I like that. 🙂
We are thankful for warmer temps and the coming of spring flowers.
And going for walks and things. We like going with you, Miss Molly. 🙂
I’m glad you had a fun cruise, we’re really ready for Spring and some non-rainy days would be nice. Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Thank you for hosting the fun, Brian. I look forward to this hop each week. 🙂
I totally agree with your request for the time change…..and spring is finally arriving YAY! Have a lovely day! Special hugs to you and Zane from Lucy, Russell and me!
Hugs back to all three of you. Love to all as well. 🙂
Sandee, I wish we could just leave our clocks set and leave them alone.
Our state is trying to pass a bill where we could be like Arizona. 🤗 ((Hugs))
That’s interesting news. And I agree, it’s an obsolete system we could do without. I’m so glad you got to go sailing, Sandee! ~hugs~ Be well.
It was a fun cruise, Darla. The first of the season. 🙂
Greetings from New River Arizona. We do have to make adjustments. Live sporting events from other places change our time to watch on TV and we have to adjust to that.
Yes, but you don’t have to spend a day changing the time on all the clocks. Hate it. 🙂
I wish we could do the same, but I’m sure it won’t happen here, Michelle. Big hug. 🙂
Spring! Love it!
Yes indeed. Spring is my favorite season. 🙂
I dislike the time change and wish they would leave the clocks alone. I am thankful for the sunshine if and when it appears! We’ve had rain for 5 days and it’s time for a break from it. Happy Thursday.
That’s makes two of us, Eugenia. I hope you get some sunshine soon. We’re going to get rain on Saturday, but we need it. Happy Thursday. 🙂
Hi Sandee, your clocks change so early. I’m sure ours change the last weekend in March (best double check that or we’ll be late for a hike!)… I’m thankful to be able to walk in such beautiful surroundings, especially this time of the year. I’m also thankful that the sun shone nicely for my sons birthday barbecue yesterday.
xx
It changes on the 8th for us. I always check so we won’t be late for things. I love your walks and your photography. 🙂
Leaving the clock alone would make life so much better, I enjoy the long evenings as well.
It’s good you started boating season again!
Have a great Thursday!
Yes we had a great time last weekend with another couple. It was windy for three days, but we did just fine. 🙂
Thankful for a beautiful day to spend with daughter and granddaughter this week. Thankful for sunshine and snow melt. Thankful for hubby who loves to cook. Blessed in so many ways and thankful for another day to enjoy life. 🙂 Happy Thursday, Sandee!
My hubby loves to cook too. He cooks better than I do. I’ll gladly wash the dishes. Happy Thursday, Bette. 🙂
We’re such lucky ladies! Dan does most of the dishes as he’s cooking, so that only leaves a few for me… Blessed and grateful every day. I DO do the baking. Two Apple Berry Pies today–hubby loves his desserts and I try to make them all heart healthy. 🙂
I’ll be over for a piece of pie. 🙂
Oh yes, the time change is coming up again. I like it better when we spring forward.
Happy Thursday! <3
Me too, the evenings are longer and I like that. Happy Thursday. 🙂
Sandee your #1 thankful for longer days during DST..is our least favorite all due to Geography.
Longer days in the south mean that much longer for the sun to heat up the earth. If we lived where there wasn’t so much humidity and unbearable long sultry days…I’d love more daylight.
Happy Thursday Cecilia
It makes boating far easier for us. We’re not rushing to get in before dark. Happy Thursday, my friend. Big hug. 🙂
Happy Thankful Thursday. We too are looking forward to the time change. Nice to have those extra hours of light at night.
Woos, Lightning and Timber
Yes indeed. Scritches to the pups and a hug to you . 🙂
Out on the water already! I have to settle for just being happy that there is now some bare ground to walk on. But only in places! There’s still a good amount of snow in our woods. 🙂
We boat year around, but it’s awfully cold December and January. After that we’re fine. Scritches to Luke. 🙂
Hooray for the first cruise of the season! May it be just the start of many, many more.
I hope you’re right about that. We sure enjoy our boat. 🙂
Nice thankfuls. I am glad you got to go on that cruise.XO
We had a great weekend. Lots of fun and to much food. 🙂
We like having the extra sunshine too but for the first week we stumble around like zombies.
I know it. We’re doing the same. Hubby and I said we’d get back in the swing of things soon. 🙂
I’m thankful for my steaming hot mug of coffee this morning. For a relaxing Yoga class. For the wondrous hues of spring (my favourite too) For feeling positive despite a few health niggles. For my darling DH. For my furry children. For a great workplace, I love coming to. For all the good things we are blessed with despite the Corona Virus scare.
I’m thankful for this life. <3
Love and Hugs for a great weekend, Sandee.
I’m always happy for my morning coffee. You’re always so upbeat and I like that. I’m thankful for this life too. Love and hugs back, Natasha. 🙂
Thanks Sandee. Life is precious indeed so I’m happy to be upbeat😃
Have a lovely start to the week. Lots of love😍
I was very busy today… between helping with laundry, cleaning house & supper & all kinds of stuff… Whew! Tomorrow looks similar, but I might be able to hop around a while. Will see. BIG HUGS & just wanted to say Goodnight to my very bestest friend! Luv ya…. nightie night! HUGS
Aw, what a lovely comment, Marie. I love you back, honey. 🙂
Oh so glad you got out on the boat ~ lovely list of thankfuls ~
Xox to you from Me and Ms. Z ^_^
Happy Moments to You,
A ShutterBug Explores,
aka (A Creative Harbour)
We had a wonderful cruise too. The weather was dry but so very windy. We did fine though. 🙂
While I like it being light later, I HATE springing forward. Probably because I stay up til 1:30am and get up at 7……..I absolutely hate it. I am thankful today for the GORGEOUS weather we are having!
I wish they would spring forward and then leave the clocks along forever. Enjoy the great weather. 🙂
Always thankful for our friends here.
I agree, Margorie. 🙂
I’m thankful for spring, the time change – I agree, leave it alone – the warmth… And I’m thankful that you are enjoying your time on the water once again. It makes me happy to hear that you’re happy. 🙂 – Love you Sandee <3
We had a wonderful first cruise of the year. It was warm, but windy, but we did fine. Love you too, Karen. 🙂
