Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.

I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

Make it a habit to tell people thank you. To express your appreciation, sincerely and without the expectation of anything in return. Truly appreciate those around you, and you’ll soon find many others around you. Truly appreciate life, and you’ll find that you have more of it. Ralph Marston

You simply will not be the same person two months from now after consciously giving thanks each day for the abundance that exists in your life. And you will have set in motion an ancient spiritual law: the more you have and are grateful for, the more will be given you. Sarah Ban Breathnach

Let us be grateful to people who make us happy, they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust

Be grateful for the joy of life. Be glad for the privilege of work. Be thankful for the opportunity to give and serve. Good work is the great character-builder, the sweetener of life, the maker of destiny. Let the spirit of your work be right, and whether your task be great or small you will then have the satisfaction of knowing it is worth while. Grenville Kleiser

What are you thankful for today?

Wonderful quotes. It just shows that gratefulness is almost contagious and it makes more of the same. Appreciate the goodness and you’ll find more, just as I’ve found with appreciating the small, simple joys in the day to day. xx

Mom is big on saying thank you, even to us pups when we do what we are asked. She also enjoys telling people when they do a good job, or look especially nice. Being nice gives her warm fuzzies, she says.

The quotes are wonderful Sandee. I’m always grateful for life, for getting up in the morning, for my family, for all of my blogging friends and for allowing God to give me the great things in life such as my cruise with my wife and friends. I smile each day for the positive things that are shown to me and I pray that all great things are given to all of my friends.

“Make it a habit to tell people thank you.” something so simple, so easy, so necessary. Yet so many never do.
Thank you for reminding me. Have a wonderful day.

  5. Eastside Cats says:

Had a conversation with my sister yesterday, about the choice that each person has to feel gratitude, instead of despair. Sometimes, finding the tidbit of sunshine in the gloom is hard, but it’s a skill worth exercising.

Yes indeed. I try very hard to stay on the positive side of things. If there is something in my life that’s dragging me down I work to eliminate it. 🙂
