I’ve not done an award here in a very long time. Jeanne Foguth of Purrseidon nominated me for the Sunshine Blogger Award on July 25th. I think it’s high time I recognized this honor. Thank you Jeanne.

Where would you live if you could live wherever you wished? Were I live right now.
What is your favorite holiday? I hate winter, but Christmas is my favorite holiday.
What is the top thing on your bucket list? Live until a ripe old age and be healthy doing so.
What is your favorite book? Every book is a favorite book.
What is your favorite movie? Oh there are so many. How about The Shining.
If you could take your ideal vacation, where would you go? Kauai or St. Thomas. I’d like to go the entire month of January please.
If you had three wishes, what would they be?
1.Get rid of all the lying politicians.
2.World peace.
3.Get rid of all terrorists domestic and foreign.
Do you speak more than one language, too? No unfortunately. I’d like to speak French, German and Italian.
What is your favorite color? Pink, and more pink.
What’s your favorite way to relax? Reading a good book on the back of our boat. Pure heaven.
What is your favorite treat? Ice cream. I adore ice cream.

Ice cream is so good it is decadent. We get it so easily now that we forget.

Good for you Sandee for doing the blogger award. We really don't see them any more. Ice Cream is the Mom's favorite thing too. All your answers were great especially that you didn't nominate anyone. Sandee, you and Zane have a fantastic day.

I have to admit, Pink was the answer that surprised me the most. As for your winter/Christmas dilemma – try the Southern Hemisphere – we get Christmas in summer.
I love all things pink. There is the southern hemisphere to fix the hating winter. 🙂

I hardly ever answered even five when I was doing these, I always stopped and said I would finish the rest later (which I did not).
BTW, Mrs. Jim just informed me that "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty," 2013 film, is on the FSX Network at 12 Noon, CDT (10 yours). Since we went to Iceland on the little Pacific Princess cruise boat we will watch it. We saw it before, most all is filmed in Iceland. A quaint little country but I don't need to go there again.

Awards can be a lot of work. Too much at times. Awards were the fad way back. Almost daily. 🙂
Congrats on your award! I used to see these a lot, but I guess people got tired of answering the questions? I donno. I think its fun to learn about fellow bloggers. I liked your answers, especially your three wishes. Winter is no fun, but I'm starting to not mind it so much compared to these brutally hot summers. (Also, The Shining is a classic!)

Yes, people got tired of all the work involved with awards. I know I did and then people were putting "Award Free Blog" on their sidebars.
I picked The Shining because hubby and I just watched it a couple of week ago. I love that movie. 🙂
With few exceptions, "lying politician" is a redundancy. The exceptions never get elected.
Oh that's so true, but we can hope can't we. 🙂

There are many movies that were great. I just watched The Shining with hubby recently. It's a scary movie. 🙂
Getting rid of all the lying politicians would eliminate about 99% of them, but that would be a good thing.
