Silly Sunday

Sunday is the place to come for weekly laughs. The rules are simple, just have fun.

This is a great opportunity to get to know other bloggers and have a laugh or two in the process. Here is how it works: Laugh and Link Up!

Dumb questions not to ask on a cruise ship:

Do these steps go up or down?
What do you do with the beautiful ice carvings after they melt?
Which elevator do I take to get to the front of the ship?
Does the crew sleep on the ship?
Is this island completely surrounded by water?
Does the ship make its own electricity?
Is it salt water in the toilets?
What elevation are we at?
There’s a photographer on board who takes photos and displays them the next day… the question asked…”If the pictures aren’t marked, how will I know which ones are mine?”
What time is the Midnight Buffet being served?

Wait! They Do have an elevator that takes you to the front. Because those people got there somehow. I just haven't found it yet. I'll keep aimlessly wandering around until I find it.

    big hugs xoxo

What great questions. They are terrific for a great laugh. AT least I laughed out loud. Sandee, you and Zane and Little Bit have a wonderful Sunday.

  3. Paul Pietrangelo says:

There is one question that is so stupid and it's this one. When the Captain is having his photo taken with a guest, many time some idiot will ask him, " Captain, if you are here taking this picture with me, whose driving the ship? " There are always idiots on board a ship.
Have a beautiful Sunday Sandee. See ya.

And WOW the ship crews must get really tired of having to answer these dumb questions over and over again. 😀 Taking a cruise is on my bucket list, Sandee. Someday when I finally do it, I'll now know not to ask any of these duh questions. Thanks so much for that … and for the good laugh I had over this today. Hope you have a wonderful day! 🙂

Yet they smile and answer them. I've seen them do it more than once. I tip them very well. They work hard all day long.

You'll love being pampered on a cruise ship. 🙂

  5. Kismet says:

Don't ask the question, just dip your cup and drink to see if it's salt water. Some people won't investigate for themselves and want everything spoon-fed to them.

  6. Tony McGurk says:

Hmmm… Now you have me wonderin' Sandee. After 12 years in the Navy I never thought to test if the toilet water was salty or fresh… A simple finger dip & taste would've set my mind at rest.
