Silly Sunday

Silly Sunday is the place to come for weekly laughs. The rules are simple, just have fun.

This is a great opportunity to get to know other bloggers and have a laugh or two in the process. Here is how it works: Laugh and Link Up!

Office Irony:

I supervised an employee who had a negative view of everything
I did. If I took a vacation day, I was “never there.” If I praised someone’s work, it was “too little, too late.”

He eventually took another job
but was fired six months later. Shortly thereafter, he contacted
me, hoping to return to his old job.

“Have you learned anything from this experience?” I asked.

“Yes, I should have stayed here,”
he admitted. “You’re too indecisive to have ever fired me.”

do you ever go browse back through old posts. I do. Back in 2011 I tried my hand at a blog game I called Lisleman's Left-over Laughs. I don't run games too well. I avoid regular scheduling. Anyway on one of my game posts your Sept. 18, 2011 post was link. I followed it today. I gave me a laugh about a Father Murphy bar joke. The best part is you still have this game going. That's amazing to me.
About your post above – I had a boss once who was inexperienced. Years past and I had moved on to another company. One day I'm part of an interview team and I'm delighted to see my old boss show up to be interviewed by me. He didn't get the job.
