Silly Sunday is the place to come for weekly laughs. The rules are simple, just have fun.
This is a great opportunity to get to know other bloggers and have a laugh or two in the process. Here is how it works: Laugh and Link Up!
Office Irony:
I supervised an employee who had a negative view of everything I did. If I took a vacation day, I was “never there.” If I praised someone’s work, it was “too little, too late.”
He eventually took another job but was fired six months later. Shortly thereafter, he contacted me, hoping to return to his old job.
“Have you learned anything from this experience?” I asked.
“Yes, I should have stayed here,” he admitted. “You’re too indecisive to have ever fired me.”

Have an upbeattastic SSS :-h
And there are so many. 🙂
Hey, I think this person worked where I do….lol
Every workplace seems to have one or more. 🙂
Heeheehee! Yep, i’ve met him. Have a blessed and beautiful Sunday!
You have a blessed and beautiful Sunday too. 🙂
Yup. negative people are not any fun at all.Sandee, you and Zane have a wonderful Sunday. Sure sounds like you are having such a good time on the boat.
That's why being retired is so sweet. 🙂
Have a great Sunday.
You have a great Sunday too. 🙂
We have all worked with this person…what a drag.
What a drag indeed. 🙂
I know that guy!
We all know this guy. 🙂
I hope that guy is never given another job in his life. He's too indecisive.
Have a beautiful Sunday Sandee and Zane. Yes, Zane, I haven't forgotten you. See ya guys.
Cruisin Paul
I agree, Paul.
We're heading home today so things will get back to normal. 🙂
Aww… That hurt just reading.
I does doens't it. 🙂
Oh yes that guy also worked with me, it looks like he sure gets around.
They do get around…and around…and around. 🙂
Unique experience!
Have a great day!
Unique, but not pleasant. 🙂
I'm still wondering why he got fired.
Attitude I'm guessing. Hostile workplace. He's that guy. 🙂
omg…..been there and heard it! Have a super duper day toots! Bigger hugs to you and Zane!
Yep, we've all had to tolerate this disruptive person. 🙂
I wouldn't have hired him back 🙂 Have a great day!
They didn't hire him back. 🙂
Yeeeeeeeeeeeea. You can stay comfortably where you are: away.
Yes indeed. These people are ever so difficult. 🙂
How funny is this? Negativity can be really annoying. In this case, I laughed. I hope you had a great weekend, Sandee. Warm hugs. 🙂
Working with these kinds of people is tiring. 🙂
Good riddance to him. Negativity as a way of life gets old fast and has a way of bringing down the rest of the group.
I think that's the plan. 🙂
My appoligies for not playing along today.
It's just fine, Mike. Sometimes you just don't feel like playing along. 🙂
I guess he needs to get a job elsewhere.
If he can find one. I'm guessing he's not going to get a good letter of recommendation. 🙂
And he probably wondered why he didn't get rehired.
I'm pretty sure you're right about this, Binky. Some folks don't see themselves as the problem. Just everyone else. 🙂
do you ever go browse back through old posts. I do. Back in 2011 I tried my hand at a blog game I called Lisleman's Left-over Laughs. I don't run games too well. I avoid regular scheduling. Anyway on one of my game posts your Sept. 18, 2011 post was link. I followed it today. I gave me a laugh about a Father Murphy bar joke. The best part is you still have this game going. That's amazing to me.
About your post above – I had a boss once who was inexperienced. Years past and I had moved on to another company. One day I'm part of an interview team and I'm delighted to see my old boss show up to be interviewed by me. He didn't get the job.
Oh that is rich. Very rich. I've had some great bosses and I've had some not so great bosses. What goes around often comes around. 🙂
Hi Sandee, there is always one! And I bet he never learned.
xx
You're right, he will never learn. 🙂
