Sunday is the place to come for weekly laughs. The rules are simple, just have fun.
This is a great opportunity to get to know other bloggers and have a laugh or two in the process. Here is how it works: Laugh and Link Up!
Odds and Ends:
A father was approached by his small son who told him proudly, “I know what the Bible means!” “Okay,” said his father. “What does the Bible mean?””That’s easy, Daddy….” the young boy replied excitedly,” It stands for ‘Basic Information Before Leaving Earth.'”
There was a very gracious lady who was mailing an old family Bible to her brother in another part of the country. “Is there anything breakable in here?” asked the postal clerk. “Only the Ten Commandments.” answered the lady.
Somebody has said there are only two kinds of people in the world. There are those who wake up in the morning and say, “Good morning, Lord,” and there are those who wake up in the morning and say, “Good Lord, it’s morning.”

Haha! funny …..I'm a "Good Lord It's morning" person heheh!
Have a sstastic day :-h
It's all good Steve. 🙂
Oh these are good. Of course since I'm headed off to work this morning I was saying "Good Lord it's morning" 🙂 Have a great day
Yes, and you go to work mighty early. Way too early for me. 🙂
The last one is my favorite, and I think it depends on the morning.
You've a point Rhonda. It depends on the morning for me too. 🙂
I like the second one. But they are all good. They all made me smile big time. So Sandee, Zane and Little Bit, your job is to have a good day.
I love to make you smile Marg. You have a good day too. Scritches to all the babies, 🙂
Good morning, Lord, for me, even though I am a slow morning person who likes to ease gently into the day. Can I send yall some of this rain?
Big hugs, honey…
I don't like to rush into the day either. Nice and slow with coffee works for me. 🙂
I love mornings. One of my least appreciated qualities by most people, I'm afraid. 😉
Have a wonderful day, Sandee! big hugs xoxo
Hubby is a night person and I'm a morning person. Mornings are the very best time of day for me too. 🙂
I've always said "Good morning, Lord," since I survived my stroke. I was suppose to pass away but I guess I was needed so each morning I say "Good morning, Lord," and before I go to sleep, I also say " Good night Lord and thank you."
Have a wonderful, relaxful Sunday Sandee. See ya.
Cruisin Paul
I love you you are so grateful for your existence Paul. It shows too. 🙂
To be honest… on my two days off work I say, "Good morning, Lord." On days I work (like today), it's definitely "Good Lord it's morning." 🙂 Love these Sandee and I hope you have a superb Sunday! Thanks very much for the smile. 🙂
Good Answer!
I so remember Marcia. I so remember. 🙂
Marcia is very sharp Joe. 🙂
Excellent start to my Sunday! Have a great week!
You have a great week too my friend. 🙂
I'm a 'good lord, it's morning person' lately. I SO wish I could sleep in a day or two. I need the sleep!
I have trouble with that sleeping in part too. Hubby does just fine, me not so much. 🙂
It's the Vegas employees' lament about certain groups who hold conventions there. The participants arrive with a bible containing the 10 commandments and a 10 dollar bill. When they leave, neither have been broken.
Love this Kismet. Not heard this before. 🙂
lol, these are cute. And perfect for a Sunday morning. 🙂
I thought they were perfect for Sunday morning too. 🙂
Good Morning! God Bless you all.
Have a Porkypine kinda day.
You have a porkypine kinda day too Timothy. 🙂
Haha! I had a friend who said he took his kids to church to scare the hell out of them!
Well, depending on the church that can work with little ones. All that fire and brimstone. It is scary for the little ones. 🙂
What a fun acronym for Bible!
Yes indeed. Works for me and I'd not heard it before. 🙂
I asked someone how he was doing on the way into work one day and he said, "Any day I wake up above ground is a good day." That was a good way of looking at it!
My favorite saying is that I'm on the right side of the dirt. Same thing. 🙂
yep there are way too many who do the latter! Have a great Sunday!! We love you!
We love you back. 🙂
Good Lord, it's Silly Sunday! c-)
It certainly is Odie. 🙂
Good morning Sandee!!! 🙂 It's Monday here and the sun is shining brightly and fiercely as it is 30 degrees as of 7:30 AM.
I am not a morning person but oftentimes I do say Good morning, Lord 🙂
I know you're not a morning person, but I'm guessing you say good morning Lord more than the other way around. 🙂
I have been known to say "Good Lord it's Morning"… but that doesn't mean I don't want the Lord to have a good morning too LOL!
I hadn't thought about that. Excellent. 🙂
Reminds me, I need to read mine more! Believe me it doesn't hurt!
It doesn't hurt one bit Ron. 🙂
Sandee,
Thank you for your prayers!
My mom signed and saved a Bible for my brother to give me on the day of her funeral. She dated it 12/25/1975, 40 years ago! xoxo
So precious. I've been thinking about you. Big healing hugs. 🙂
Nothing like a brush with death to turn a person from one that says, "Good Lord, it's morning," into one that says, "Good morning, Lord."
This is very true. That really does change ones perspective about many things. 🙂
Reading the Bible is a good thing. Leaving earth… the verdict is still out on that one.
I agree Jason. We really don't know what's going to happen. 🙂
And they probably broke every one of them.
Every last one I'm sure Binky. 🙂
