Some of them are honest to start. One man i know talked about a good friend of his who was going to change things, and then after he got into office the first thing he started to worry about what raising funds to stay in office. He still had the ideals, they got buried under the fact that if he didn't fundraise from the start, he'd be out of office after one term. So that took over his life.
It's sad, and i wish there were a way out.

Growing up, my mom was never as political as my father and I were, but the Obola years have made her realize how dangerous an uninformed electorate can be, so now she wants to be informed. I talked with her today and she asked me who I was thinking about voting for and all I could do was give her a list of who I didn't want to vote for… it's early yet, Ma… give me time.
There are still folks that don't want to have anything to do with politics and they should. I also am in the same place you are. It's more like who I won't vote for. No to Hillary and no to Jeb. Outside of that… 🙂
