Odd News Stories

Instead of doing funny today, I thought I’d do odd. Yes all these stories are true. Life can be so strange at times. Or is that odd.

Expect tiny tuxes but no real puppy love at doggy weddings

Oh, poor Anton! I hope they catch him and bring him home soon! And I guess the “No kangaroos in Austria” T-shirts and souvenir business is gonna take a hit… but an upwards or downwards hit? hmm…

Guess what day this is? Anybody? big humpday hugs hon! xoxo

When you put your pet in a mini-tux or wedding dress and they bark, they're saying, "Just shoot me now."
Animals seem to be incredibly resilient. In my life, I have accidentally hit two dogs with my car. When I went back to check on them, they were gone! I could have sworn that I had killed them, but they left the scene of the accident before I could get to them and see if they needed medical attention.

    LOL…
DH told me he heard on the radio that a woman was pulled over because of driving a stolen vehicle. She said, "I know it's stolen, because my boyfriend stole it and gave it to me." When the police arrested her she asked them `why`. They explained, again, she was driving a stolen vehicle. She said, "I know, but I didn't think it was that stolen!"

Well those are all interesting stories. So glad that cat dug himself out. I know nothing about kangaroos but I thought they were in Australia. Sandee, you have a super day.

The cat story is indeed unique. The poor thing was probably just knocked unconscious, the owner thought it wasn't breathing, and after a couple of days left alone to sleep an recover, it woke and clawed its way out.

The amazing ways animals get people into trouble, not because of them but because of us, never ceases to astound me!

I heard the one about the zombie cat because it happened right here in town, but the others were news to me. Thanks for sharing the weirdness.

  7. BeadedTail says:

We heard about the kitty and can't believe that! He did look like a zombie but thankfully he's going to be okay!

Hope your week is going well Sandee! Smooches to Little Bit!

What a great idea for a post! My favorite news story is: "A kangaroo is on the loose in frigid and snowy Austria, hopping his way toward dispelling a famous slogan."

I feel sorry for this Kangaroo. I love Comedy Plus. Just stopping by to say hello. 🙂

    Have a great evening Sandee.

    xoxoxo

That reminded me of a song they sang on Zoom… my goodness almost 40 years ago or more? "But the cat came back, the very next day…" "They thought it was a goner but the cat came back, he just couldn't stay away…" So funny!

Thanks, Sandee. I like your odd. Too, I heard the headline about the buried ran over cat on the TV this morning but missed the story. Baby crocodiles and alligators make nice pets. If they are tamed they will be okay "just before" they outgrow the toilet flushing specs.

Looks like Anton was recaptured after living 4 months in the rough. However in the summer of 2016 another kangaroo in Austria named Nanni made her escape. I wonder if they ever recaptured her. Makes you wonder how many kangaroos there are in Austria if they keep escaping
