Mondays Music Moves Me

4M-badge-vintage-etheral1Who are the Music Moves Me bloggers? They are bloggers who blog about music each Monday and if you have music to share, you are most welcome to join!

Our host is Cathy from Curious as a Cathy. Her co-hosts are: Stacy from Stacy Uncorked, and Alana from Ramblin’ with AM.
I’m pleased to be November’s Honorary Co-hostess. The theme this week is freedom of music choice, no theme week.

We’d love more music lovers to join us. It’s easy! All you have to do is add your link with a music post that contains at least one music video (there must be a music video). And that’s it!

When we near the holidays I always reflect on family and friends that are no longer with us. The great times we had during the holidays. My video choice this week is in memory of my precious mother who left me in 1991, I miss and love you.

Such a great song. Mom misses a good friend she lost recently, and she misses her dad who passed away a long time ago. Sorry you lost your mom so long ago. Moms are such special people.

there is not a singer alive that can beat Celine. I love any and all things she sings. Sorry for the loss of your mother. my mother left in 1990.

Such a lovely voice! I lost my mom early in my life, as well. In fact, this coming Veterans Day will be the anniversary of her demise – 54 years ago. I miss her every day.

Christmas can be a difficult time. I lost my mom 4 1/2 yrs ago. She brought Christmas to my dad and us. She was German and the Germans love Christmas from hanging the Advent wreath from the ceiling, playing beautiful Christmas music, decorating the tree with tinsel that, to this day, o hang one by one. I cherish the memories. This song is sad because I do feel like I am an orphan. When I feel that way, I look at my mom’s picture on the fridge and throw her a kiss.

    Sandee,

I also think of those no longer with us during the holidays. How can you not? We’re at the age were more and more people we love slip over into the next life. Great song, great artist pick for this week, dear friend. 💞

As it happens, the anniversary of my mother’s death is tomorrow, and I know, as you do, that the pain never completely goes away. I am thinking of you and listening to this song that expresses your pain so well. I know the song but didn’t know Celine Dion had covered it. I’m so glad, incidentally, that I found you through Wordless Wednesday a while back, that Cathy found me several years ago, and that we’ll be sharing your music through the month of November.
