A good one, Sandee. I let someone in one time. I've spent a few minutes here trying to remember why I let her in, I didn't know her. I am not promiscuous.
I also picked up a hitch hiker in Iowa off the freeway. He thanked my three times, once for picking him up, another when a Highway Patrol crossed going the other way (he knew hitch hiking was not allowed on the Interstate, and once when he got off.
He told me he was hitch hiking from Hawaii to New Jersey. Most nights he would get a free meal and a warm blanket at a city/town jail. I don't know how he got to the continental U.S. He didn't ask and I didn't give him any money.
