I Believe…

That sometimes the people you expect to kick you when you’re down will be the ones to help you get back up.

That sometimes when I’m angry I have the right to be angry, but that doesn’t give me the right to be cruel.

That maturity has more to do with what types of experiences you’ve had and what you’ve learned from them and less to do with how many birthdays you’ve celebrated.

That it isn’t always enough to be forgiven by others. Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

That no matter how badly your heart is broken, the world doesn’t stop for your grief.

That our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are, but we are responsible for who we become.

That you shouldn’t be so eager to find out a secret. It could change your life forever.

Two people can look at the exact same thing and see something totally different.

That your life can be changed in a matter of hours by people who don’t even know you.

That even when you think you have no more to give, when a friend cries out to you, you will find the strength to help.

That credentials on the wall do not make you a decent human being.

That the people you care about most in life are taken from you too soon.

" That credentials on the wall do not make you a decent human being." Boy are you correct on that one. and I know of one particular person who thinks she is so advanced over everybody. I wonder why they think that way? Oh well, as far as I'm concerned, they are useless.
Have a wonderful, & enjoyable weekend and have a fun Saturday Sandee. See ya.

lovely post. i would add do not compare your reality to someone else's facade. you only see what they allow you to see. roche' says he'd like to add he likes to shop. i asked him what that had to do with this post and he said he just wanted you to know that.

    smiles, bee

I finally get it! The "I Believe…" columns are words of wisdom and different from the other days when you post humor. Duh, I can be dense sometimes but in my defense I read blogs while in the morning when I'm not fully awake.

These "I believes" are all so true but for some reason a lot of people have trouble understanding that.

I'm working on the forgiveness one. I've learned that over the years. I feel guilty for anyone I've ever hurt and I realize that they've likely moved on…I'm the one who hasn't forgiven me!

The seeing things differently fits me and my pet rock: when I see a pizza, Seymour sees a future leftover that might attack him. I never should have let Seymour watch The Outer Limits…
