That just because two people argue, it doesn’t mean they don’t love each other. And just because they don’t argue, it doesn’t mean they do love each other.
That we don’t have to change friends if we understand that friends change.
That no matter how good a friend is, they’re going to hurt you every once in a while and you must forgive them for that.
That true friendship continues to grow, even over the longest distance. Same goes for true love.
That you can do something in an instant that will give you heartache for life.
That it’s taking me a long time to become the person I want to be.
That you should always leave loved ones with Loving words. It may be the last time you see them.
That you can keep going long after you think you can’t.
That we are responsible for what we do, no matter how we feel.
That either you control your attitude or it controls you.
That heroes are the people who do what has to be done when it needs to be done, regardless of the consequences.
That my best friend and I can do anything or nothing and have the best time.

Good ones! And I believe I will have another cup of coffee! 🙂
Have a terrific day, Sandee! big hugs xoxo
Me too Barb, me too. 🙂
I believe……….these are all good truisms. Great fodder for thoughts.
Have yourself a fabulous day. Big hugs, honey…
I thought so too honey. 🙂
Yes. And you can't help people who don't want to be helped.
This is very true and there are so many that don't want any help. 🙂
Oh those are such great sayings. I especially like the last one. That is so so true. But they are all really good. Sandee, you have a wonderful day along with Zane and Little Bit.
They are good ones indeed Marg. Happy Birthday my friend. 🙂
Wonderful statements. I believe that it's taking me a long time to become the person I want to be and I still believe that I'm growing & learning each day. I believe that this will continue until the day that I die.
Have a gorgeous Thursday Sandee. See ya.
Cruisin Paul
It's a work in progress indeed Paul. 🙂
I agree with a bunch of these.
Good for you Joe. 🙂
Wonderful thoughts that we all need to be reminded of from time to time. But when I first started reading them I must confess I wasn't fully awake and I kept looking for the punchline I've come to expect here. LOL
Sometimes I get serious, but not very often. 🙂
We're responsible for what we do? Not in today's world. There's always a scapegoat that made one do it.
Well you and I are responsible for what we do and accept the consequences. Many don't anymore. 🙂
I think these truisms are true LOL, I agree with the above comment too
Have a tanfastic day Sandee :-H
I knew you would Steve. 🙂
You know……I think I'll print this post off and carry it around with me. Some frank and honest lines there!
Words to live by indeed. Sometimes we just need reminded. 🙂
Wise words.
Very wise words. 🙂
excellent! HAVE A SUPER DUPER DAY!
One of my blogging buddies sent this to me and I just had to post it. Have a super duper day too. 🙂
that was great and so true
I think you sent these to me Louise. I'm pretty sure you did. 🙂
Well put! I always wondered about that old theory that if you don't fight, your relationship isn't good because you aren't communicating and you just don't care. That isn't true at all…relationships are much more complicated than that.
Yes, relationships are far more complicated than that. 🙂
I love these!
Hope you're having a wonderful day Sandee! Smooches to Little Bit!
We're on our boat for a long weekend. Life is good. Scritches to the babies. 🙂
I agree with all of these. Hope you had a great day
I loved them all too. The other half will post on Saturday. 🙂
Wonderful beliefs and very useful advice as well. Life is wonderful, painful, messy and the greatest teacher. So are friends like you who share their lessons learned. Have a great day!
Thanks Jen. You just made my day with your comment. 🙂
Two ring so true for me… "You can do something in an instant that will give you heartache for a lifetime.." So true..And that you should always leave loved ones with loving words.. Now I'm a lit'l weepy with my memories.. :/
These are so simple yet so very true. 🙂
Yessiree! Thanks for the reminders.
You're most welcome honey. 🙂

He's a pistol isn't he. Bless his heart. 🙂
There are some wonderful pearls of wisdom here. We should indeed leave loved ones with loving words, because no one knows if we will visit again. Yes, we are responsible for our actions…this is something that our current world seems to have a problem grasping. Thanks for sharing these with us.
Hubby and I always tell each other we love each other when we part company. Always. We never know if we'll see each other again. 🙂
these are some incredibly important reminders and I thank you for sharing!! They were particularly needed for me today! xoxo
I'm glad I chose the right day for this post. The other half will post tomorrow. 🙂
Those are all so true! And the older you get the more you see that truth.
With age comes wisdom my friend. Scritches to the puppies. 🙂
I love this one: "That you should always leave loved ones with Loving words. It may be the last time you see them.” I had just read this verse earlier today: "Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, Sweetness to the soul and health to the bones." Proverbs 16:24
Those are some good ones.
