Netflix is the one that always gets me. I go to bed early Sunday to Thursday nights when I have work the next day as I start at 6am but on Friday & Saturday nights I’ll say to my wife, “I’ll just watch one more episode then go to bed”. She’ll wander out of the bedroom to go to the loo & I’ll still be watching just one more episode way past midnight

We find the ultimate lazy TV thing to be that silly yule log at Christmas time. People put it on the TV and let it just run rather than having a real fire in their fireplace. My mom has always loved TV, and never liked reading books, so the TV is on here most evenings for a couple hours. It actually puts her to sleep.

We like our TV, but don’t get too carried away with it. I always have the news on in the morning and evening, but if I’m not really watching anything during the day while working, the TV is off. I’d much rather be outside watching the real sunrise!! 🙂

We enjoy Netflix and Amazon Prime, but only a couple of hours a day. Right now we’re watching Taken on Netflix. Very good show. 🙂

I never understood watching a log burn on TV at holiday time. The smell is part of the experience. The spark that lands on the rug and burns the house down is also part of the experience.

I enjoyed a good chuckle with your shares. Have a wonderful week. I was thinking of you out on the water where you enjoy such good times. Have a great week. hugs and love and thanks for always helping me make sure I am linked in. 🙂

I left the TV on but didn’t watch much during this long weekend; the weather was too nice, and The ‘O’ Cats beckoned me. I also cuddled with Angel and Da Boyz, and knocked a couple of books off of my ‘to read’ list!

The TV is on all day here although Mom and Dad are both busy doing things at the same time. We like it when they actually SIT at night and watch it so we can snuggle next to their legs:)

The kitties dad just bought a 55 inch TV. He wanted 65 inches, but I vetoed that. I understand it is good for watching sports, but I was happy with the 32 inch we had. My favorite quote is the one from Groucho Marx. A certain ginger tabby will be joining you for Wordless Wednesday tomorrow. Hugs, Janet🐈💗

I wish I would’ve picked up reading. Sometimes I can get into a book, but not too often. Have a great week and weekend my friend. I bushed… headin’ for dreamland! BIG HUGS!

    • Sandee says:

We have piles of books waiting to be read. Hubby and I read together each day at 4pm. It’s just what we do before dinner. 🙂

      • Debbie D. says:

Can’t imagine doing that, Sandee. If I went to bed at 10 pm, I’d be wide awake by 1 am! 😆 Plus, my husband doesn’t even get home from work (during the week) until 10:30 pm. Different strokes…

    Sandee,

Thanks for the giggles. The only time we watch TV is in the evenings and weekends. Oh yeah, I do catch an episode of something while I use my elliptical. Does that count as being lazy? It sure doesn’t feel like I am. 😀

  11. Jen says:

Oh my goodness the bed time one. Only it is my kids who delay me. Mom is going to bed so let’s say we need drinks for the next 30 minutes and then need to pee for another 30 minutes. Or choose right now to tell her a really long story that lasts like another 30 minutes……

  12. Gilly says:

TV is the biggest time waster – especially daytime TV. But sometimes it’s a good way of relaxing after a long day of work but too much of it makes me very restless. Very funny quotes – you calling me a monkey? 🙂
