The one about licking the spoon I put on a small cutting board that I have in my kitchen. It was one of my first vinyl projects. I can relate to the gaining weight just by reading the recipe…lol
I can gain weight just looking at food. It’s not fair. 🙂
Mom always wanted to be one of those peeps that could eat whatever they wanted to and stay slim. Maybe in her next life!
I did for years and years and then one day it was over. Bugger. 🙂
My mom loves the idea of carrying a knife in case there is some cake!

It sure gets harder when you get older. Never worried about my weight until my 50s. 🙂
I remember when I was in my 20’s and 30’s. I could eat anything and never gain a pound. Not anymore. I wish I had Johnny’s metabolism. I could stuff a side of beef down his throat and he wouldn’t gain an ounce.
Also nothing better than a good friend you can cook and will share 🙂

I asked my son to put a fork in my lunchbox once. He put it in my purse, unbeknownst to me (I just thought he forgot the fork). A couple of days later we went to the courthouse to get our passports renewed. The guards at the inspection station did not take kindly to my fork showing up on their x-ray machine. I told them what happened but they said it was considered a weapon. Really not funny, but still kind of funny. No way after that will I be carrying a knife for cake instance lolol. 🙂 Have a wonderful day.
