The top picture is the two Coast Guard officers that inspected our boat. They were most fun and very efficient. The bottom picture in most of our boats docked for the weekend. We still had a hole to fill.
Another shot of our club on the dock and if you walk across the parking lot you’re looking at the Sacrament River. We saw two freighters coming out of Sacramento heading toward the bay.
The first shot is our view during dinner on Friday night. There were 25 of us and the food was fabulous. The view was almost as good. The second shot is of the Patio at the harbor. This is were all of us spent a good part of Saturday. Hubby and I did all the set up. Our grill masters are in the last two shots. There was Tri-Tip, Chicken and Sausage. It was delicious. Each couple brings a side dish. There were 55 people attending the BBQ. There were 24 boats that were inspected and we all passed. The weather was perfect and the fellowship even better.

Its wonderful to have coast guards that are fun and efficient. Congrats to everyone for the pass. Sounds and looks a wonderful and fun BBQ dinner. Long time I haven’t have this type of gathering and grilled food.
We do a lot of BBQs in the summertime. It’s just what happens when you’re boating. 🙂
Well, I’d say “awww” but that was for yesterday … but anyway, “awww … that all looks awesome … fun, fabulous”, we are jealous. How wonderful, wish we were there!

No holes in the boats, the hole was between the two boats on the end. We did fill it later with another boat. 🙂

It’s very easy to do. There is a checklist to follow to make sure your boat is ready for the season. It was a relief. 🙂
I always figured that I’d go into the Coast Guard, but now I’m much too old, and get seasick too easily…lol!
These two were delightful. Very friendly and outgoing and that helps when they are inspecting your boat. 🙂
