We used to call it Black Monday because after a tiring weekend, no one feels like going to work on Monday.
I so remember that feeling. I’m so happy to be retired. 🙂
LOL, these are all perfect. Being paid to be around people I don’t like is a bonus.
It is indeed, Ann. 🙂
Most of those don’t apply since Mom has her own business and works from home, but Mondays are still really tough to deal with
That’s the way to go. Mondays I always hated when I was still working. 🙂
I’m usually not bothered by Monday, but I surely did not want to get up and go to work yesterday. I just wanted to sleep in. My problem is my weekends are so busy (sports on Saturday and the grands come to visit on Sunday) that I feel like I didn’t get any rest. Not complaining (because I love doing both), but a day to do nothing once in awhile would be nice. 🙂 Have a wonderful week!
I so remember being tired all the time. It’s worth it though. You have a wonderful week too. 🙂
these are really funny and I can relate to all of them, or at least I could before i retired
I sure could. Some of the people I worked with were something else. 🙂
Makes retirement look better and better, doesn’t it. Hugs!
Retirement is wonderful. I highly recommend it. Don’t work a day longer than you have to. 🙂
Those were funny. Thanks for hosting. Have a great day. XO
You’re most welcome, Ellen. You have a great day too. 🙂
Your funnies make me so happy that I am retired.
Yes indeed and that’s why I posted them. I so remember some of the folks I had to work with. 🙂
some of those fall in the truer words have never been spoken category!
You’re right about that, Paul. 🙂
LOL Oh I am so glad to be retired so I don’t have any of these worries
Hugs cecilia
That makes two of us. Hugs. 🙂
If I resume, I do not know many friends who like the atmosphere on the job.
Real ideas, Sandee! Thank you and a fine evening! ❤️
Some workers are fine and fun to be around, but that one bad one can make life miserable. 🙂
There is a holiday for those who show up for work on Mondays-it’s called Labor Day,
Yes indeed, Kismet. You’re so smart and I love you. 🙂
Being a few days away from transferring to a new job responsibility, my current departments are celebrating my departure…the pet rocks wish they could as well 😉
I would work with you, Mike. We’d have fun. 🙂
I used to dread Mondays but now that I am retired, I love them! Happy Tuesday!
Same here, Eugenia. Happy Tuesday. 🙂
😊
I remember those days= thank goodness I am retired now! Retirement is very under-rated! Cheers and hugs!
Yes retirement is a wonderful thing. Cheers and hugs. 🙂
Those were funny, I laughted out loud!
I’m happy about that. 🙂
LOL! These remind me why I’m happy to not be working any longer. Have a great day!
Amen to that. You have a great day too, Yvonne. 🙂
Retired and enjoying a Happy Tuesday! 💞 Wishing everyone a Happy Tuesday too! xo
That makes two of us, Bette. Love retirement. Happy Tuesday. 🙂
Hugs! 💞
oh dear! Already? Yikes 😉
Yes, Lydia. Have a Happy Tuesday. 🙂
These are pretty funny!
Hope your day is going good! <3
Workplace humor is great after you retire. Have a great day, Barbara. 🙂

Always, Carol. That makes it even better. Love and hugs to you both. 🙂
Now I remember why I retired LOL!
Happy Tuesday!
Amen to that. Happy day. 🙂
With the majority of my family and friends already retired, and I’m still showing up on Mondays, it’s really beginning to get OLD! 😹
I hear you. I so remember the long wait to retirement. 🙂
Hee! Hee! I sure am glad I’m retired! Marv sends purrs! Have a marvellously Happy Day and see you tomorrow!
Me too, honey. Tell Marv I love him and am sending him smooches. 🙂
Yup, that pretty much sums it up! 😆 I’m SO glad to be out of the corporate rat race.
It does indeed, Debbie. Have a great day. 🙂
Bwahahaha! So true for those work days of yesteryear!
Yes indeed. Scritches to the pups, a smooch to Norman and a hug to you. 🙂
I’ve been really blessed to like , or at least be ambivalent toward most of the people I’ve worked with. Most, not all. And like others have said, my weekends are usually so busy, it’s a relief to go to work to “rest!”
Me too, but there are always some that are there for reasons I never understood. I’ve gone to work to rest, but not often. 🙂
As a youth I never liked autumn because it meant the start of a new school year. 😛 Thank heaven for graduating from school and retiring from the workday grind! Now fall is my favorite season and I don’t wake up Sunday dreading Monday morning. ~hugs~ Be well!
That makes two of us. I loved school though. I could get away from home for a few hours. Long story. 🙂
Ah yes, coworkers. It’s an insane asylum sometimes!
I so remember. Happy Halloween. 🙂
